ok im in after a sleepless night Why are girls so nasty im not sure what to do last night a girl from my daughters school sent Dd a message on msn which was awful swearing and telling her how awful she was there has been agro for a few weeks people coming up to Dd asking if her and her friend have fallen out i told her to try and be friends with every one this seems to have back fired and they have accused her of using them:( ive advised her it is perhaps time to find some new friends im not sure what to tell her anymore i went on msn and read what this girl had put, the language was terrible and the content i found quite intimidating, i told her if she threatened my daughter again i would ring her mum and the school did i do right ???

I'd ask her mum for her email address and forward the whole conversation to her anyway.

Girls normally only have a very few close friends it is quite usual and DD can't be friends with everyone, some people you wouldn't want her to be friends with and some she just won't like.. that is life.. unless she is choosing to be friends with the unsavoury ones let her find her own way.. she'll be ok

    Hello Flyfriends

Ooh – sunshine today!:D Note to self – ensure we have some SPF30+ sun cream; I'll need it, if we're going to get sunny days (sun exposure is a ba-a-a-ad thing for me); certainly, I'll need a supply before we have any more canine visitors. (Next one is due to arrive on May 6th).:)

Dusty Have a (((HUG))); funerals are always emotionally draining; and no 11-yr-old should have to be coping with their mother's.:( Life can be so unfair sometimes. Coping vibes on way to that brave young man.

Sammiell sorry, no words of wisdom, (children are an alien species to me I'm afraid), but lots of posi-vibes for you and DD.

Ah, jolly old bathroom today – oh joy!:p The "study" part is already done (on Lounge Day), but I'm taking my time with the bathroom, and doing a little bit then resting, as I have a lot of pain today. I've been umm-ing and ah-ing about taking yet another dose of Oramorph, but I think I shall have to give in and take it.:(

Think I might allow myself the slice of carrot'n'orange cake that Mr LW has cut for me to have, before I continue, though.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon lovelies!

Dusty Brought a lump to my throat reading that, took me back to when my Mam died, I was the eldest at 20 my brothers were 16 & 12 and my little sis was just 3, she doesn't even remember her :( They will be ok, but thinking about all those future events they're gonna miss sharing with their Mum just breaks my heart :( I'm so sorry for them, her parents, her partner and you (((((((hugs)))))) xx

sammiell Girls are horrible, you did the right thing x

Been to work but not done much else, the sun is shining and I've scoffed my dinner, oooh and I've let the rabbits out for a play in the garden. Don't fancy doing much except chillin so that's what I'll do.

    laters x

not had a chance to update my lists as very busy in work today but will prob do when i get home. not managed any flying this morning but will tackle what i can tonight. It was actually the first time today that despite things looking a tad 'upside down (after kids leave for school in morning and place looks upside down) that I actually felt i could leave it and still not feel too bad. I think it helped that i spent the morning paying bills so that in itself is a weight off my mind. :)

    hi all

well i am back in properly again now - lambing almost over- just 3 ewes to go and the rest out in the fields..

i am aiming for level 3 again from next week, and aim to tackle the room of doom over the next few weeks - which is the kids pit and has toy boxes stocked up floor to ceiling with nothing in the right place and mountains of clothes that are piled up that dont fit in drawers and drawers full of clothes that dont fit...

so i am going to do 15 mins in the kids room every day.

today in the ROD i have emptied out the socks and knickers drawers and only put back ones that fit, and emptied out the PJ drawer and put back what fits....

2 bags of stuff for the school rags collection...

right off to find a list to see what i have missed earlier in the week...

I have been living on little sleep due to lambing so i am going to see if i can continue getting up v early and doing the list before the school run....i did manage this for a week before lambing started - but not sure i can keep it up long term..

i do go to bed by 10pm though and the last 2 days i have gone back to bed after the school run for a couple of hours to catch up:o

anyway life is back to normal now and the field is full of new borns:D

i need to get on top of things before school breaks up next week:eek: we always try and time lambing so it happens before or after the school holidays so that i dont have to deal with kids and lambs at the same time.

i have not had time to read so hope all is well and take care everyone
