Can I just say I hate my minky retractable washing line  it unwinds and dumps the washing on the floor no matter which way I try to secure it.

Fortunately the prop stopped the washing quite hitting the floor.

W's bed now remade, Miss A's bedding drying on the line.

Freecycle picked up, one item still awaiting collection.

Have done WMx3, put on airers, washed inside of all windows, disinfected cat litter tray and refilled, cleaned venetian blinds from DD and DS rooms and put back up, cleaned and polished sofas, and had a once over the bathroom! Currently have a glass of my mothers day cava in hand, before making gammon steaks for me and OH for dinner, DS at grannies till tomorrow and DD at boyfriends for the night, so will eat, have a bath and polish off my wine! Busy day but house shiny and tidy again, no more shoes in living room, and since I dont do the kids rooms other than windows and blinds I will only need to catch up with ironing and S&S kitchen and bathroom this week and keep living room tidy.....never known before, so flying has transformed my house and given me much more me time on my days off, thanks ladies!!!

I did clean the windows, in the end - nearly fell in the sink doing it, but that's another story.....:rotfl:

First draft of the Paperwork For Dummies document done - what I really want is a batch of stuff to do, so that I can make notes as I go along, because I'm sure I've missed something; it looks too straight-forward!

Mr LW's got his pal over this evening - they're going to look at how to install the new loft ladder - it's a two-person job, and I'm afraid it's beyond my capabilities to be the 2nd person nowadays, so I suggested "A" would possibly like to help.... specially if I offer to get his 4-pint cider container filled up at the pub for him.:D

It won't be done tonight, it's way too complicated, but they can look, see what wants doing (our loft hatch is awkward, to say the least) and take it from there.

So..... Bangers'n'Mash has been decluttered, washing up all done and put away; Mr LW now has half an hour or so to do some WiiFit before "A" gets here.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

If you have an open fire you could chop them up and use them as kindling :p
