I think I saw Martin either tweet or fb about that? Such a lovely thing to do.
Right, today I have a long list of little things to do to get sorted for tomorrow.... luckily it's bright but cloudy so I won't begrudge not sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine in my hand.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Lol, we just had a BBQ, even though the sun had gone in. Felt really British, sitting out with grey clouds overhead and the cold biting at my arms, but I had bought a disposable BBQ, so we were going to use it come rain or shine! Also saves on too much washing up, which I really hate doing after I have cooked.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Got up this afternoon after the night shift, OH made chicken chasseur for dinner (turned out very nice) so not much hard work for me there. Now catching up on the fiorums. Tomorrow I have a Mr T shop being delivered (I used a £10 off voucher, so very MSE there) then I have to get some motion lotion, probably at same time as picking DS up from school (very MSE there, too, combining trips to save money) plus the usual sloggus domesticusto get through. Have to start planning menues for our Easter weekend visitors - 3 days breakfast, 3 days lunches, 3 days evening meals, one of which will be a posh 3 course dinner party meal. Now what can I prepare and freeze ahead? Decision, decisions.....any suggestions gratefully received as I have a reputation with our guests of being quite a good cook/chef/hostess, but you run out of ideas sometimes. One life - your life - live it!0

Might do a typical afternoon tea with cakes on Easter Sunday? Chocolate will feature in there somewhere, of course. One life - your life - live it!0

Not sad at all Beanie! I consider it a good weekend if I can get my washing out and dried on the line, and have an empty washing basket on a SUnday evening.
Well tis Hump day, thank goodness. My daughter is having some injections tonight to try to help her pain. They are called trigger point injections and are put in strategic places in her body. I told her I couldn't go into the doctors room whilst she has it done because I would cry!! I can't stand seeing her in (more) pain, but I am hoping against hope that they do some good.
She is on morphine and last week was a 'good' pain week so we were hoping that the morphine was doing its stuff but this week hasn't been so good.
Hope you all have a good day.....OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I, too, am a sad person who rejoiced yesterday because I got a full load of washing out and dried and ironed yesterday. Today, however, it has been a bit brass monkeys and spitting with rain. One life - your life - live it!0
