mmmm, not been around much due to internet issues but hopefully that will have cleared up.
No PAD's for a while as cash needed to go on other things, and we have a spanish exchange student arriving today: both DD's are very excited.
Plans for this week: PAY OFF MORE DEBT, nice an simple. Am hoping to get rid of another £10 maybe more this week but we shall see.
Head isn't in a good place right now but shall hopefully get things sorted:(Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
daery deary me, fatcat has just discovered next doors free range chickens:) so free range they were sitting on my fence taunting him, wandering slowly up and down up and down..... the only ones he has seen before were my old next door neighbours who had them in a cage...........he has spent a few hours just watching them, slowly doing the cat bottom wiggle to get closer and closer:), then next door spoiled all the fun and shut them away for the day
Today I am focising on the business, and must bank the pennies for the emergancy fund, all £4 of it, but it is still money and it will be good if anyhting happens to the car/cat etcProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

all money is good money if even if it's only a couple of quid.
I went to a country fayre yesterday and they had some lovely chicken coops and some fab chickens, i'm so tempted it's unbelievable, not sure what my cats would think though.0 -
Am trying to decide where I am really.
Have paid off another £80 and adjusted my signature, not really done much else.
Have moved into the office.....didn't want to ut actually needed to and its cheap as I am sharing it with a friend.......but had the accoountnats bills:mad:. Either I pay it at once and get billed £800 or pay £150na month to split everything over the year, but 150 plus all the other bills is going to be really pushing it.
I have lots of work in but really now need to convert it to cash.
Need to get to under 11k as well to make myself feel a hell of a lot better:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Hi Catspaw
What are you paying the accountant for? Is this for work already done or for work they will do for you in the future.
Tax Returns/VAT/PAYE are quite simple once you have learnt.
I learnt because HMRC ran some courses for free at my local office and I went along - could you see if you have ny near you.
£800 per year seems a lot for probably not much work.
Glad work is picking up for you.0 -
Found it http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/bst/advice-teams-area/map2.htm
Click on your area, then on the next page click to book event and then on the next page tick the boxes of what you are interested in and complete the form and submit.
They should contact you quite quickly to let you know when the next course/event is.0 -
EE, that is brillient thank you! have registered. that was for work already done/in progress.
£9 paid off, but every little is slowly helping.
Haven't been around much as realised I was under far far too much stress, so curled up and went gibber for a while.:D
But I think I am on the straigh and narrow now, have been putting way too much pressure on myself so have decided to just try and take each day as it comes.
I ran the south downs marathon and had a great time:Ddefinately one for next year and have started looking at races for the fuutre, marathons are fun, Ultras are as well ...it's what I've started doing and am looking at adventure racing...only done one but it was such a laugh I really must do more.
Finance wise I am struggling. Business is still taking my cash and I know its a long wait but am frustrated and beating myself up which isn't good.
Have registered for a Bxxxx bank free seminar so lets see if that provides anything really interesting.
Have also decided to take Friday off just for me! am planning on going surfing
Realised I haven't actually done anything for me for nearly 2 years as I am always worrying about how my OH would take things, as he is currently on a break....as in I told him to buxxer off for a week while I thought, I am going to take the time for me.DD's will come home on their own and I will go and get wet!:rotfl::rotfl:make that very wet.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Gooood grief, havn't been on here in over a month:eek: what have I been doing???
Well, lets see...finally managed to get rid of OH (now ex-oOH). had far too much of his strops and when we argued on Tues night, he went for me hands out to strangle, cue yelling, baraccading myself and DD2 into a room (DD1 was luckily with friends) and calling the police:mad:
so, off he goes.
Plan now....try and get the finances on track which is going to be the biggest squeeze ever.
With paying into and trying to run the buyusiness as well as trying to get all the benefits/bills sorted my head is spinning, I know that I need to start but can't face it which is bl##dy stupid:(
I know I need to do something but my head isn't focused.
Upside is DD1 is 15 on Sunday (all prezzies bought ages ago -pn sale:)-and finally wrapped.)Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

I am so sorry to hear of the issues you have had buy yah to a happier, calmer life. :T
No matter how bad the relationship it will take time to get over it - do not try to rush this.
Could you write a list of things which you need to do and then pick the ones which will get you more money coming in such as contacting Tax Credits, contacting Local Authority to get 25% discount on Ctax and sorting Housing/Council Tax Benefit if you get it.
If your income is quite low there might be other benefits available.
Once you know what income you have coming in then you can sort the bills out and know how much you can afford.
Things like housework etc are not as important, living in a messy house for a few weeks won't harm anyone and as long as you have a few clean clothes that is enough - hopefully the summer holidays have started so you haven't got to get the uniform dry:rotfl:0 -
Hi EE, oh yes the summer holidays:) unifrom will remain stuffed in the bottom of the ironing basket.
My lis for Monday is 1) council to deal with benfit as their on line system keeps crashign 2) contact Landlord to ask to have locked changed
3) check joint account and then take my name off it ....no join money things apart from bills
4)change bills to my name
5) coffee, coffee and more coffee
Yesterday did a little more work as my brain is finally kicking in
Today lunch with friend (bought for me), afternoon sleep: looks like now there is no daily stress my body is trying to collapse:mad: but it obviously needs it.
Tomorrow DD1 15th!!!!!!!!Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
