:j:jwell, managed to survive having 15 , 15yr olds over for a bbq qwithout any problems/strops/fights/breakages and good fun was had by all:j: they helped clean up this morning.
Today I have done very little: a Uni summer school lecture I was prebookd to give and some filling of bags of EX's stuff.
I try and fill 2 bags a day but seem to get nowhere:(, I have no idea of how spiteful he will be when we meet to see about him taking his stuff, he could walk away with all the furnature and I could come home to just the kids stuff and my chest of drawers and all my books all over hte floor and no furnature what so ever.....I just don't know.
My heads not in the right place for anything but I know it needs to be done. Its not as if I want him back, I just want the hassle/wait over for him to take everything but I have this gut feeling its all going to get very very messy.
Plan of action tmw is to go to council and remove my detials from the joint accoutn. Then try and get on with building my business.
BUT I also have to raise more money so I need to look at early morning cleaning jobs to try and get some money coming in.
First things first council/bank.
I really need to get back on the mse tracks but I knw right now my finances are very much up in the air:(Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
1) council: done: very helpful, all I need to do is drop some extra forms and id back to them tmw
2) bank: not helpful: I need a signed letter from ex to take me off account
3) work: seem to be making some progress: money would be good but the more roles I have the sooner or later interviews will drop and clients will pay.
MSE: nothing to report, wish there was but there isn't.
Tomorrow: drop id etc off with council, arrange a date to meet ex to see about furniture etc, lunch with friend and lots of work.
Tonight apart from playing on here I should be updating my webpage:)Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

And how is the world with everyone today?
Council good, ex turning up tmw, have said I dont want him back but he's sooo sure he can change my mind:mad: oh little does he know. Am sending DD's out for the morning then hopefully will pick them up and head to the beach while he packs/picks up his stuff.
mse wise very little is happening, I really need to get a grip on it.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Aaaaaannnd she's off!
Now like most people I ave ad my light bulb moment, and maybe even a flickering or 2 before, but I had a bit of a shock Friday involving a friend which didn't just give me a lightbulb moment, it rammed it where the sun doesnt shire, hit the mains and then whalloped me round the head! And it wasn't even something I did:D
I share an office with a couple of friends, all of us doing different businesses, and the firends come and go depending on moving/business needs etc.
Problem is the lease in in 1 persons name and they havent been paying the rent, and they have disapeared.....so the landlord locked the door, changed the locks and I only found out when I went to do soome work:mad:, so cue running round like an idiot trying to raise 6 months rent in 1 day:mad:.......
All sorted.
But the whole lightbulb thing scared the living daylights out of me. I know I'm not the best with money, but getting a h**l of a lot better, but te idea I had lost all my business stuff terrified me. It showwed me that I could lose everything at any point unless I get a true andd firm grip on things.
Today has been a nsd, coupled with moving ex's stuff into storage and trying to sort paperwork. I redid my soe , think I might need one for te business but not sure as yet.
I know I need to be careful and will have v v little spare cash if any but I know I need to do this.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

So, yesterday was a nsd, today not so much, but took all the id etc to council, closed joint account and managed to get quite a lot of work done.
Tonight, need to sort car as the stupid thing has develpoed yet another problem.
Tmw, not sure as yet. Work definately and hoepfully yet another nsd. Aprt from that nothing to report:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Today should hopefully be a nsd. What are my plans?
1) run.....done, nice and early (well at 5a.m in the rain it was at least early)
2) bread rising so loaf will go in oven soon
3) need to check online accounts: havent for over a month so might be in for a shock
4) work
5)PAD to emergancy fund
6) catch up on here:D
Am hoping so much to get back into the swing of things, but so much will be up in the air until the council gets back to me on housing/council tax benefit.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

hi, glad to hear you've managed to get rid of your OH, which i know sounds harsh but i think i remember you being really worried about how he was with your girls ages ago.
well done for experiencing a bright lightbulb moment, we're all here for you, and will keep you company. Though i have to admit to not having been on here as much of late, sorry.0 -
Today am off with DD's to see Iceage 4, it's something we have been saving for since we saw the trailer:D I love the squirrel thingy.
MSE today: really must check my figures and update my signature as paid £5.77 of one, 87p to emeragncy fund, £20 of somewhere else and a few others so need to do that later.
Must pick up battery for car as mine is well and truely dead. £50 I dont want to spend but have a client meeting later this week and no public transport gets anywhere near it, so, mut suck it up and pay the money.
Need to get my work FB page up and running properly, make a PAD, bake some bread and scoure the house for loose change to possibly bank to take some more money off my total.
Ex has agreed to pick some more stuff up at some point in the next week. Its sooooo nice not to have the stress, it was making me ill, physically as well as mentally.
I can cope with work stress and money stress as both are temporary and give a kick up ex stress...no thanks!
Am thinking of getting fish as well, fatcat will love them:D, also hamsters (not until I get car sorted as dont fancy carrying one back on the train).
Have fun folks!Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Today was a tad on the expensive side.
Train/cinema and lunch whcih I had budgeted for, and had to get some clothes for DD's in the sales as they are growing so fast (and to stop DD1 nicking my clothes).
I still need to get a car battery and some food, did pick up a few essentials on the way back from the station though.
Tmw lunch with friend (free), PAD (have counted small change and can put £3 to emergancy fund), take last piece of paperwork to council for benefit calculation, more bread (doesnt last with DD's.
Have made list for school stuff and should be cheaper this year as both DD's in sames school so os really just top up things.
Hvae done a store cupboard check and should only be a few essentials, and have a list for winter to get us ready and even getting the 'C' word list (not brave enough to start shopping for it yet though).
Plan for Friday....not that adavnced as yet:rotfl:
Am also thinking of taking DD's camping for a few days in a week, as well as to see their grandparents.Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

Not much to report really, still just keeping my head above water.
Ex-OH comes again tmw to pick up more of his stuff, I told him he wasn't using it for free storage....I know that's very mse but maybe just a little far for me:D
So front room is filled with bags/boxes and am planning on taking DD's out tmw (after I have bought and fixed my car battery). They have asked to go to cats protection to take a look round.......god help meProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
