Morning Girls :T
Sorry it is a flying visit from me this morning.
Happy Birthday Butterfly. Hope you are having a lovely day.
(((hugs))) to those that need them.
We bought a Landy last week as our car needed a lot spent on it. The Landy unfortunatly looks like it is a bad buy and we may have to sell it on again. We have just sold our old car for spares or repair. The guy was coming down next week to pick it up but we got a call last night to say could he pick it up today so I have been frantically searching for the paperwork for it. Really need to sort my filing system out. We have cleaned it out and hoovered it. It is amazing what junk was in it.
Have to clean the downstairs loo and hall just incase they need to come in as they have traveled quite a way.
WM is on. DW needs emptying and filling. BM needs puting on.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Gers looks like you are enjoying your new job:T. I feel for your family and your mum. It must have been hard having an AS child back in the days when no one understood it or offered any help. one of the reasons I decided not to have anymore children was the fact that DS needs so much care that it wouldnt be fair on him,the other children or our family as a whole. I never planned to have an only child but it is the way things have turned out. DS needs time devoted to him. I couldnt have asked for a more wonderful child and have been truly blessed.
Tiredmum glad he came home and hope things get sorted out at school poor lad.
Oh, it was tough, especially as he wasn't diagnosed until late adulthood by which time he had had two wives, a floozie and five children plus my parents and myself all left rather burnt around the emotional edges. Loved him so much but life was extremely challenging. I'm surprised my parents had me after him but there was only a two year gap so perhaps they hadn't had the worst of him.
We wouldn't have been without him, just wished better FOR him though he was extremely happy and highly regarded in his field.
Gers I am impressed with your hairdesser
Me too! It's such a bonus. I live about 200 yards from the salon and only spend about 20 minutes there before my patience runs out so he caters for me pretty well!
A little shopping has been done. A little clearing out of cardboard ready for the recycling place and TV on.
Sun has come out, rain has gone so I may be forced outside shortly. :cool:0 -
Happy Birthday BB:bdaycake: hope you have a lovely day.
Good morning all, not long been up:o after having yet another rubbish night sleep, must must get some calamine lotion today.
Its bright here today, so bedding is on the line, boys popped it in the machine this morn , just my set to go in now.Ds3 is at school today, as he is part of the prom commity and they are arranging the leavers hoodies amongst other things today,he will be home about 1 and I have no idea what he'll be doing for the day.Ds 1+2 have gone off to Stevanage for the day , Ds4 is still asleep and DD is in town with her friends I presume from the note stuck to the fridge door.So its so so quiet here atm, even woofer is being quiet
Have another note on fridge saying ," we will bring dinner back with us" so don't even have to think about that, feel quite redundent actually.
So will have a coffee and a slice of toast and then off for a shower,
Hope eeveryone has a lovely day, hugs for all.:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

Happy birthday Butterfly Brain hope you have a fab day xx
jackieo - have a nice holiday
We had thunder and lightening last night  but now it's a beautiful sunny day

I'm feeling a bit out of sorts emotionally at the moment
think it's a due to mixture of not being well for awhile and not sleeping very well lately, turning 29 and stupid men issues. In some ways I feel like I'm not where I'm expected to be in life, but in other ways I'm so pleased with what I do have especially my job, my friends and my travels. I'm all conflicted and not settled on the inside. It's probably just me being hormonal and having too much time on my hands to reflect on stuff. I'm gonna go for a walk by the sea and tell it all my problems, that usually helps
.
Anyways, plans for the day...not meeting girls for lunch as 2 of them are working today. I'm taking my little cousin to the rugby tonight, along with my brother. It's his first match, we were meant to take him Boxing Day but the match was cancelled so this is the first time we have been able to rescheduled. It's a late kick off, 6.30pm. I need to pick him up from my nan's which is a tad annoying as it's 40mins in the wrong direction :rotfl: but I'll pop in on my parents too beforehand and give my mum her Mother's Day stuff, and go to the library too.
Also, I've been invited to a 30th birthday party tonight, an ex-colleagues. So if I'm feeling up to it after the rugby I'll pop along for an hour or so. It's local to me so I'll drive over, and if I want a drink I can leave the car and pick that up tomorrow.
OS wise - DW is on. Wish I had enough stuff to put WM as it's lovely drying weather, but basket isn't full enough.
Have a good day all, sorry for the moan

Good afternoon all! The MIL is here, and Mrs B is at work so me and Kiddo are entertaining her!
A good day thus far, I popped to town to get MIL's mother's day present - got 6 big bunches of daffs at 50p each, and a big box of Thornton's chocolates for £2.99 from Home Bargains. Bought Mrs B the mascara she wanted, and Kiddo spent some of the money that MIL had given her on sweets and flowers for her too. Cards were free courtesy of the Funky Pigeon freebie, and a code! We're off to the local farm shop for lunch in a bit, using a £20 voucher that a friend gave me - she won it and didn't want it!:T
MIL wants takeaway curry for tea, so I've been to the supermarket and bought poppadoms, bombay spuds and saag aloo to keep the cost down!
If anyone knows where I can find a money off voucher for Linton Zoo then would you let me know please? We might go in the Easter holidays.
Have a good day all! :j0 -
Car failed it's MOT.......guy is going to price it up and give me a ring on Monday.....it's now sat back in the drive looking a little forlorn. On a brighter note I have managed to get 8 things listed on ebay this morning so hopefully that'll go towards the cost of the repairs. Just going to have some lunch and then I'm off to rummage in the wardrobes again for cs and more ebay stuff. Weather has brightened up a bit here so I think I might just put the towels on to wash.As my dad always used to say 'Just because you've got the money doesn't mean to say you have to spend it all at once'0
