Happy Birthday Butterfly Brain xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Hi everyone, please may I come and play? I was thinking about Diva this morning and how I used to enjoy her posts on here when I lurked.
Happy Birthday Butterfly - I have River Cottage Everyday coming tomorrow which I am looking forward to.
Bitsy Beans - I am fairly local to Twycross, and I am just thinking about putting some washing out as the rain seems to have cleared off a bit. We used to go regularly with an annual membership but the prices shot up recently.
Today is my DS1's 8th birthday - and he has requested a shop cake as a treat! Humph. He also wants to make dried apple rings so I have promised to do that today, and will probably put some meringues in whilst the oven is on so I can use up some of the egg mountain. I have to clean, and I want to play in the garden.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Back again! Got an hour or so sleep and feel a lot more human. Boys fed and watered, chicken out of the freezer defrosting for tonight (will be making chicken noodles); got the meat out for tomorrows dinner and will zip to the market tomorrow to stock up on fruit and veg. Washing etc to do and DW to load and set off. Will be thinking about clearing up the house!
Thanks for the hints and tips about the blood pressure - will be getting on to that asap. Knew that I could count on you guys OSers. xxxMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -

Morning All!
Happy Birthday Butterfly Brain!
Well it's cold, grey and chucking it down with rain here....I hope it clears up soon cos I'm going to have to walk round and collect the car from the garage later. It's in for it's MOT and I haven't heard from them yet. Fingers crossed!
Well today i'll be:
Putting towels onto wash
Listing some things on ebay
Sorting through the rest of my clothes for things to go to cs or bin
Reading - currently on 'Any Fool can be a Middle Aged Downshifter'
And of course surfing the net
Hope you all have a good day and that anyone who's poorly is feeling a bit better

Hi everyone,
Happy birthday Butterfly brain.
Gers, I really like Time Team as well. I love Phil's West Country accent.
I'm not feeling too good today, I think I've got a chest infection. I should have been prepared for being ill as soon as I gave up work, I was one of those children who was always ill in the first week of the school holidays.
I'm hoping I'll see DS today because he's working tomorrow and DD is in London so I won't see her at all.
I think I'll take it easy today and see if I feel better tomorrow because I want to do some batch cooking.
I hope you all have a good day.0
