    morning all

looks like the weather is going to be promising, i need to wash DD2s bedding , the others i did yesterday

a quick tidy up then off to c0stco, for the toilet roll and fabric conditioner offer :)

DD2 has a saxaphone lesson this morning ( her teacher is selling her saxaphone to DD, the one dd has is a school one and its damaged but the school wont repair it) so its costing £200  but DD has put half to it

I have just had a new clutch fitted as DD1 who is learning to drive has worn it out  apparently it happens a lot with learner drivers, so thats another £360 to find :eek: April is going to be a very tight month :(

ESMF sorry DH has high blood pressure , losing weight ( if overweight) is very good for reducing blood pressure as is stopping smoking, low salt, increasing fruit and veg general healthy eating and exercise i think

Gers I am impressed with your hairdesser :)

have a good day everyone x
  • DS is at school till Weds then off for almost 3 weeks.
Not sure what we are up to this weekend. Would like to just relax and play it by ear but that never works here so will have to come up with some sort of plan for DS
Looks dull and about to rain outside. Will line up some dvds I think and play some games. Will prob do some baking with him too.
If sun gets out may get to museum park for an ice cream.
DH making HM pizzas for tea later.
    Roast lamb dinner tomorrow.
    hopefully no meltdowns today..please:o
Still not much sleep to be had here....the melatonin should be here nxt week so will start trying it in easter hols...prob best idea anyway.

hope everyone has a good weekend

    Morning all

Been MIA all week again - I just dont get chance to post/read during the week anymore with my new job. Settling into a routine now and managed to pack my lunch and cook dinner ever day rather than relying on shop bought ot takeaway which feels like a bit of an achievement!

DD has had a bad cough/cold/sickness for the last few days so I'm running on very little sleep at the moment. Today I have some auditing work to do which I crack on with when DH goes to work at half ten. DS1 has had to put his car off the road today as his insurance renewal came in at £5000 - ridiculous! Its higher than expected because he has a claim pending (he was hit by a lorry) and they have said when the claim is settle he will have a years no claims and reduced premium but in the mean time he's just not prepared to pay it and is going to look for a scooter to get about.

I need to meal plan, do a shopping list and look at this week's budget which i'll do in a minute and pick up the shopping while I'm out today.

JackieO have a lovely holiday, and hope the poorlies feel better very soon

    Take Care xx

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Butterfly, have a great day my darling xx

Beautiful day here :j, slept in till 7.30 reading my book (tales from a midwife) and have been pottering ever since, got the first wash on the go, and another two to do, will get it all on the line.

Dinner tonight will be the chilli and rice from last night, we ended up having an omlette, OH can cook tonight :T.

I have taken the pork out for lunch tomorrow, (Mum and dad are coming, and probably sis and bil too,) but it does not look big enough, so might get a chicken, or a bit of brisket to go with it. Might ask mum to make an apple pie, she likes to get involved ;)

Not sure what we areup to today, need to get the meat, and nip to local discount shop for yogurts, and I am sure we will get a walk in somewhere.

    I love weekends :j

Hugs to those feeling poorly xx

Jackie O have a great time xx

    Have good days all xx

    Morning my lovelies :D

Supposed to be sunny intervals but I think BBC weather site needs to be done for Trades Descriptions Act, it's raining slightly and dull at the moment :(

Off to Twycross Zoo today. DS has been nagging to go since last weekend (when it was still shut for the winter) so we're going today. We really ought to go tomorrow when I can get in for free as it's Mothers Day but it's supposed to be heavy rain and I don't fancy walking round when it's tipping it down :o

Not sure what's for tea, probably be something quick and easy. Maybe HM pizza.

House is a semi tip, going to have a manic tidy round before we go as I HATE coming home to an untidy house :o

NPM - Sending you lots of calming vibes for Noah and that your weekend is a fairly relaxed one xx

esmf - feel better soon lovey xx Lots of good advice for you H's blood pressure. Hope he can bring it down asap, can't be nice having a constant headache.

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.

    Edited to say:

Butterflybrain - Happy Birthday! Have a wonderful day and hope you get spoilt xx hbday.gif

    Morning Everyone!

Today I am meeting a friend, and her children and going for a nice long hike, viewing a castle, then making pizza for everyone :D

Last night DS made my surprise dinner... yum :D

After we went to Church for The stations of the Cross, which was a very enlightening service. My son has been given a part in tomorrows church service... so he is really happy now because he gets to talk in front of loads of people!

That's it really... a nice steady weekend x

...and add to that the 18 day Easter Break!

I wrote the above yesterday... and last night I had a dream, and the 18 days were over... all done and dusted! But I couldn't remember doing anything with it!!!

I woke up and felt depressed that my holiday was over and I had to go back to work (not the PT work either, full time!) :(

Imagine my joy to realise that today was SATURDAY! There is no more FT work for the next 4-5 months... AND I still have my 18 day break to look forward to!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes redruby and Bitsy :D

Just had breakfast in bed served by DH and lovely it was too.

I was planning a lazy day until I saw the wash bin  so I have one load in and another 2 to follow because it is a good drying day and I don't think that we are set fair for many dry days next week.

Got my toys (Kenwood attachments) this morning plus the river cottage everyday cookbook, choccies and flowers from DS and a cherry stoner from DD :rotfl:I did ask for it after last year having to de stone about 10 lbs of cherries from the tree

Well I am off for a nice shower smiley-chores036.gif

I hope everyone has a lovely day x
