Hi Katpin!
You seem to be quite organised. Only obvious-ish thing that came to mind is transport, but you may not need it.
N the honeymoon of course!:T0 -
hellllllllllllllo
if i kill my MIL2B do you think i could get off on temporary insanity?
she is really really annoying me now and has just announced she wants to move house in the next 3 months but i have to help her!!!!
if you hear of an MK woman killing her MIL2B i swear thats me!!!!!The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
No transport required as its all in one place- honeymoon will be at a later date- we're planning spring next year as we want to go to Rome and some other parts of Italy. Hoping for nice weather but avoiding Easter!!2014
No Debts except Mortgage :beer:Mortgage Term End Feb 2043 :mad:Savings Goal £11,000/£50,000:T0 -
Welcome Katpin
Sounds like you're well underway.
Jo - I love the sneak preview of the wedding cake! Looking great.
Have been making invitations all weekend ready to send out in a few weeks. Have been getting loads of people asking me details - times, hotels, where to park etc, so have decided to just send the invites out earlier than planned to shut them all up!!0 -
Thanks NoAngel.
We r really impressed with SiL2B making ability. So far she has made CBM, BM, Best man, MoG and one dog. Think she is working on FoB next, and the other dog.
then leaving it for a few weeks while she heads back up north, she is only doing it while on holiday.
That's what we ended up doing about the invites- just to shut people up. We have had a few RSVPs through, but the amount if gifts brought from our gift list- wow! I really didn't expect people to be that generous! we are actually  we have only got 'cheap' gifts left, we had lots of gifts in the £15-£25 range, and that's all that is left, all the expensive ones are gone already! Tbh we are both in a little shock! :rotfl::T0 -
You are all getting on so well!
We finally ordered the invitations on saturday, checking the proof today, and should get them at the weekend.
Then next weekend will be spent making them!
Also - received the confirmation that the notice has been received, and will be ready to pick up before the wedding!
Major things still to do:
Wedding rings - we requested a quote about 5 weeks ago for making them ourselves and still haven't got - I chased this up last night. Will phone at the end of the week if we haven't heard
Transport - OH is sorting
Mens Suits - OH is sorting
Make & send invitaions
Ice Cake
Minor things to do:
Sort out readings and music for ceremony (including finding some victims to read them for us!)
Sort shoes & accessories for BM's
Suit out gifts for bridal party
Follow up on favours
Get the scatter gems for the tables
Arrange logistics of getting everyone to the chapel & hotel
Have to book trials for my hair and make up.
Are you all getting trials for the BM's as well or just the bride?Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
I have moved my trial forward for my hair trial- now going to be on 6th July instead of August.
my BMs are not having a trial, but I may get them to think about it before my trial so I can show her what they want. The price ranges due to complexity too, so it would be good to give them an actual price as they are paying.
I have only just started feeding my cake! It's only had 2 feeds!:T0 -

My mum is feeding the cake as its in her house - think its had 3 now - going to very alcoholic by the wedding day!
Do you know what you are looking for your hair?
We are going to finally see the BM dresses next week, so will then have a better idea about hair and jewellery etcWeight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
Oh right- not too far behind then! Mine gets fed 1-2 times a week, so should be quite moist in a month or 2!
I do know what I want (no judgin please! :rotfl:) I really like Bella's bridal hair from twilight! :rotfl: my hair is blonde though, so it will look completely different. I may ask for more of a French plait than a normal plait though, but that's what the trial is for!:T0 -
Received another RSVP in the post today (after 2 yesterday). And received a cheque in the post as a gift from our honeyfund. :j Thing is it seems a bit soon to send a thank you now, as we won't actually 'have' it until the honeymoon, but leaving it 3 1/2 months seems rude!
What to do?:T0
