I am having a painful day listing everything that i need to pay 4 weeks before the day (the number is a bit scary!)
I prefer looking at what I have paid already! Got to pay our registrars on Monday, so money paid will go up again compared to total!:T0 -

Well pay out a lot of money... :rotfl:
There are still things left, but they have all been accounted for. Like my dress needs altering, but it has been booked in. Cake I being fed, I know when we r icing it etc.
We need to do evenin invites, but that's not urgent really...
Just honeymoon that hasn't been actioned at all.:T0 -
Got to organise the ceremony, but not doing that until we meet the registrar. Printing my invites this month and sorting out final numbers for evening invites. MIL2B will be baking the cakes in the next few weeks, so need to speak to my friend about decorating it. Need to speak to my mum's friend about the groom's cake. Need to book exploding balloon, and get BM's and groom's outfits and presents for the bridal party. Not too much left to do now!
Oh yeah, and pay out a lot of money in the next few months...0 -
another dress update of woe....well, kind of.....it has made me decide something very definite.
I received the cheap ebay champagne dress and it doesn't fit....pfft. I can't get the zip over the bum done up and the top - whilst I can get it to sit across the chest, really is a bit too big. It shows that I do need a custom made dress. The material - whilst kind of 'ok' - really is cheap, scratchy, thin material.
I have emailed Big Fat Gorgeous Wedding to ask about any June offers as we recently had a FB conversation but haven't heard anything back. We are away from tomorrow until the 13th and I unless Gorgeous Wedding have something that really makes me change my mind, I have decided to just 'go for it' and when we get back flex the CC in About a Bride in Bletchley for the coat and dress I liked for my handfasting ceremony. It will come to £700:eek: but I will have the coat shortened after the wedding so I can wear it. I'm just tired of all the unknown aspect of buying things in a panic online. I could have sent it back in 7 days but for the cost I'm going to keep it as an 'emergency' dress..... just in case....
Still haven't heard from the pagan priest, so think that is a dead end and will re-contact the lady who we contacted originally to see if she knows anyone else (she runs the pagan county-wide pagan website).
Emailed the china seller who is making my registry bridal coat to ask about progress. It is 7 weeks today that I ordered and it said 6-7 weeks delivery. Fingers crossed it is ok when I hear it is on its way.
Going to get Mum on the case with the invitations next week, parents have been away for 2 weeks but she said she would do them after they got back. Only need 13 so that shouldn't take long.
Am obsessed with Etsy at the moment. Spend so much time on there looking at scarves, toe clips, flowers etc. I've ordered a handmade crown that is made from lots of pieces of Autumn leaves which have then been varnished over. I don't suit the traditional sparkly tiaras and I kept coming back to it in my searches.
Also ordered a peacock feather hair clip piece for my registry office ceremony.
I'm looking at loads of long scarves at the moment. I want to have a long shoulder 'train' of a long thin scarf that drapes over the shoulder and down the back of the coat. I've got a few on watch on ebay."Stay Wonky":D

oooooooooooo i love the shoulder train BBabe!!!!
OH has decided to redecorate the house (so i may kill him) so i have no internet for 2 days, no tv, no electrics and 2 p****d off kids lol finally shipped them off to grandmas for the weekend so i may be able to get something done in my corner
i am trying to decide on a hair colour for the wedding since 14 i have either had very red hair or black hair - i have red now but it needs redoing so i am considering going black again for the wedding and going for the china doll look (naturally ginger so i am vvvvvv pale with freckles)
hmmmm one to think about
girls night out tonight so yayThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50
