    Hi

I noticed that in this thread there are people advertising stamps at 90% of face value, if you want real bargains then look on E-Bay for 1st or 2nd class stamps, they sell for anything as low as 60% of face value in packs of 50 or 100, great for bulk postage.

I'm moving this over to Shop but don't drop as there is a thread running over there on first class stamps and the BG can merge this one in with that.
  • I was reminded this afternoon at my local post office about the rise and didn't have enough money on me to stock up so came home and put an order in online with Royal Mail...very easy and paid by credit card.

  • Oh well - Most Ebay Cats are moving Stamps with No Gum - Did they remove it from past letters or something?

Costco are currently selling packs of irst class stamps at under the going rate. Can't remember the details ut I think they work out at 26p each. Worth a look before the price goes up

Had a look at the auctions and almost all of them are stamps without gum. Some are selling Xmas editions and AFAIK they were self adhesive.

Only buy them if you have plenty of spare time to glue them..

Some of the Supermarkets may still be selling the stamps at the cheaper price, if their EPOS systems haven't updated yet.

For those prepared to pay face value the simplest way to buy lots of stamps is at the Royal Mail shop (https://www.royalmail.com). They come in sheets of 100 and you need to spend £35 minimum. They are delivered by special delivery - allegedly next day, but don't bet on that - for free.
if i had known then what i know now
