UU: Baptiste- WIBA- Yes yes yes yes.
In: Asda Jojoba shampoo- Needed it, so no naught step
In: Smart price conditioner- again, needed it
In: Deodrant: Needed it
I enlightened the OH with the joys of B&M, he was amazed! We bought 2 easter eggs (both with mugs, at £1.99 each (i think!)) and managed to avoid the toiletries. He got some new hand wraps, so he's passed his on to me which will stop me breaking my wrists, and I bought some jogging bottoms.
Matalan, however is another story.
Have a lovely sunday! xx0 -
I love the serum too - surprisingly it doesnt set off my eczema and works well under makeup.
Incidentally if anyone has any recommendations for treating eczema that doesnt involve steroid creams please let me know. My eyes have suddenly flared up terribly with the warmer weather, and also the side of my mouth and one ear.
I use E45 cream and Sudocream =s I get stress Eczema in the webs of my fingers, blimmin' sore when it cracks/hardens, and its just started expanding to my entire fingers/thumbs and down my wrist =s Docs soon methinks
Awww Trudi!! Thats sucks something awful! Hope it doesnt take him too long to realise his mistake!! Playing the nice card is a good idea, as when he does realise, he wont feel like an idiot to come back to you (hopefully crawling on his belly?)
I have my fingers crossed for you *big hug* =]

Thats Tacky with a capital T :rotfl:
A couple of UU's for me and some free IN's:
UU's:
Boots Vitamin E Toner: WIBA? Yes - for a toner it was quite soft, not stringent or stingy and didn't overtighten my skin after use. I have half a bottle of Simple Toner to use first but will probbaly buy this again when needed
BS Cranberry Joy Lip Balm/Butter: WIBA? No - The first week or so was OK and then it stopped being 'cranberry-ish' and just tasted/smelt of Strawberries which I'm not a fan of. I like the product but not this flavour
IN's: found when sorting out cupboards
James Brown Volume Boost Shampoo
James Brown Volume Boost Conditioner
James Brown Hair Reviving Dry Shampoo
These were supposed to be in the xmas room for DD but after finding all the unused Mark Hill stuff in her room from last year (and the year before) I've decided to use it myself
I also may have a possible OUT - I have an Avon Lipbalm -supposedly 'xmas edition' but really not very xmassy in smell or taste. It's (I think) Watermelon ..... and I really don't like it. I can't use it on the dogs paws as it's too heavily scented and she'll lick it offAny ideas on what I can do with it? Or should I just bin it?

Totally agree with mcculloh, there is a reason she is his ex.Oh trudij, massive dodgy group hug for you :grouphug:
Men are so stupid they can't see the perfect woman for them is staring them in the face
I'm directing some of my 'you've made the hugest mistake of your life' vibes your way. We're all here for you hun, and we know you're amazing. He'll realise v soon I hope and come back to you. x
PudseySister1 uses Aveeno cream I think on nephew. He used to have it really bad when a baby. The homeopathic hospital recommended it for him, and our GP prescribes it. Still uses it and he's 8 now, as it does come back/flare up from time to time.
Feeling a bit down. Finally managed to get him online, spoke a bit about situation, I cried. He looked as hurt as me. We got cut off. Then still not heard anything after. But I never got to say goodbye, which is my need! So still in limbo
Met a friend for lunch, finally managed to eat something (though my nausea made me lose half later, sorry for the TMI). Went to HoF to get something for my sister, tried the new UD shadow pencils and highlighter. Naught SA tried to tempt me with UD15 liner collection; resisted. So didn't buy anything! Nails inc counter, tried the new silver with purple crackle, omg, I loved the crackle colour. Didn't buy as cheaper ol with rewards points.
Got an afternoon tea with friend from uni, sis and her friend. Don't want to go, would rather mope in bed, but its all booked.
xoxoWill pm you link later. Not really a user though do have an id.
So many of us have stalker type issues its frighteningMine calls between 10pm and 2am and doesn't say anything if answer. Last year had sms so number came up, saying I love you etc. Next time a call came I said I have your number, logging your calls and reported you to the police. But carried on. My oh then called, swore and threatened and calls stopped. Til about 2 weeks ago. T-mob say have to change number (don't want to as old contract on my dads bill from uni days, would have to tell him and he'd get worried) or report to police. Same issue. So I ignore it. Next time I'm going to answer and just ask outright why they call I think.
Sawan - go and enjoy yourself this aft, when you've made the effort you will feel better, pleeeeease don't mope about at home, that WILL NOT help at all. You have to get out and enjoy yourself. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Gah! Nothing remotely toiletry related to add to this discussion but wanted to pop in and say hi!
Spent most of yesterday feeling slightly worse for wear, went out and drank too much the night before - didn't think Id drunk much at the time, was very amusing that OH ended up with a big cut on his head - he woke up in the morning saying he didnt remember coming home but he had a vague recollection he had a fight with a bush - which he did, well he for some reason decided to headbutt it haha not entirely sure why nor was he, but somewhat amusing. He's still trying to figure out what happened in about 10 mins that night - I had his car keys so I kept playing with them as we walked past the car - remote locking. I carried on walking up the hill but realised he wasn't behind me, in the end I shut the front door, of course I had his keys so he couldnt get in, 10 mins later he rang the door bell - he says he has no idea what he was doing for that time.
So woke up yesterday feeling terrible, went out for lunch, incidently at the same place we were drinking the night before and the bloke behind the bar even commented on it, he even remembered what we were drinking - sure thats a bad sign lol....
Felt better until the evening meal which I pigged out on (Homemade lasagne) one of my favs but I felt ill again after....
Found out about our uni May ball this year - so disappointed with it, last year they charged £30 (drinks extra) but this year its gone up to £45! basically they are using the excuse theyve book 4 big bands - which in fairness they have BUT I personally don't think they can justify the cost, surely just booking 2 would have been better and keep the cost down. No way Im going, not considering the drinks fiasco from last year (1.5hours to queue on the night to buy drinks tokens). Besides for 2 people to go, it would cost well over £150 - £90 tickets, £20 taxi etc and thats before the drink tickets or dress or anything else....Better off going for a slap up meal and a few drinks in my opinion.... £150 odd to spend standing in the uni grounds in a tent, maybe not.
Alright this morning and its sunny so thats an added bonus - off to MILs place for sunday lunch mmmmm...
@ trudij big hugs for you - your too good for him - keep telling yourself thatMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Thanks for that, I was beginning to think I was the only person who didn't use it.
OMG nearly forgot, found another face cream product thing, No7 instant radiance beauty balm I think. It tells me something when I can forget something that probably cost £18.:eek:The devil makes works for idle hands0 -

Pudsey, i've had a non steriodal cream prescribed for my eczema, it's called elidel or primecrolimus I've been through loads of creams and this is the only thing which keeps it under control. I was told that it originates from anti rejection therapies and i do know my pharmacist hates giving it to me as it's pretty expensive. May be worth speaking to your doctor about it.
I have bad ezcema on my hands which has now started to travel up my wrists which is pretty painful as the skin there is so thin. I also get it on my eyes if i've used makeup too often or been crying.0 -
((((trudij))))
One small UU today, a travel size shower gel, fed up of the bloody things now! :rotfl: hoped I'd have another UU in a hair conditioning sachet but there was enough for at least 2 washes in there so that will be used in the week.

I used to use makeupalley.com a lot when I was out of work in 2009. Made some wonderful discoveries that way and was a great way to get rid of items I didn't like - mostly nail lacquer colours.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
