I was watching telly last night and saw the ad for Veet Hair Minimising lotion or some such thing and wondered if they really do work, and I thought to myself "hmmmm....I know who to ask"!!

    So, ladies, any recommendations?

I saw this on a try it free offer :jbut looked at the website to find out how to redeem and couldn't see  Would like to try though
1 more UU - Johnson body lotion, think this is the 3rd this month as had lots of dribbles! Not sure if I WBIA, although did find it quite moisturising.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Fab idea xoxo - have sent a PM. Dont think I'll be offering the Elle body butter though - it weighs a ton (ok slight exaggeration - but it is heavy) Will offer on my local freegle - I did that with some Avon botanicals that I reacted to and had a lot of replies.

Pudsey - I saw loads of the Elle Mc stuff on clearance in Boots this week so it looks like it wasn't too popular.

Can't say I'm too surprised. I know it's not something I'd have bought myself.

Two little uu, olay regenerist 3 point serum and flawless skin cream, both 7ml samples which I used on my neck, found the cream a bit greasy for me so definitely not one for my face but did think the serum was lovely. Have had to put my beloved Lift and Luminate creams away too, my skin wasn't doing too well and I thought it might be them. Returned two brand new ones this week aswell. have gone back to my £3.99 nivea oil free day cream which i love and am using my glamour mag moisture surge as a night cream. Really like the moisture surge, there is no greasiness at all, it just all sinks in. Will see how I get on with this combination.

I love the serum too - surprisingly it doesnt set off my eczema and works well under makeup.

Incidentally if anyone has any recommendations for treating eczema that doesnt involve steroid creams please let me know. My eyes have suddenly flared up terribly with the warmer weather, and also the side of my mouth and one ear. :(

I've just started ordering from Boots and its fab! They deliver free of charge to your local store (handy if yours is a very small shop like ours) and points are added when you can get to one of the machines in the bigger Boots.

Omg,I've just been dumped!!! (well - about 3hours ago!) he and his ex want to try again...
I honestly can't believe it - I really thought he was the one. He's just phoned me saying how sorry he is for hurting me,and that he's not sure he's not making a huge mistake, to which I told him that I was always. Going to get hurt and if he didn't try then he'd always wonder and that's worse. I'm using the play it really nice and make him feel really bad tactic..... And luckily he phoned when I temporarily stopped crying-so that was handy!! Don't think I can do anything other than tell him to take care and that I just want him to be happy, but any vibes to show him what a massive mistake he's making would be good..... :(

I'm looking forward to doing this more now that I have moved workplace. The Boots in our town centre is pretty big but still doesn't stock everything and it will be great to be local to one when the next S&G Xmas offer is due rather than struggling to get down there to queue before they open.

One IN for me yesterday - a box of Clairol Root Top Up. Didn't have any in the stash. It hasn't taken completely either so I'm wondering whether I'll have to get my colour done every 5 weeks at the hairdressers from now on.

A UU: Benefit Lemon Aid. Love this product and I squeeze every last little bit out of that pot. I have bought an alternative as I was going to purchase my LA from ASOS but they never restocked it when I had the Groupon voucher so I went for the Dainty Doll version. Actually it's ok - works the same. Different texture though. Lemon Aid is more waxy whilst this has a drier texture and I felt like I had to apply more to achieve the same results but at least it is the same result so I'm happy.

Have just repainted my nails in No 7 Highland Mist.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
