No Buying Toiletries in April Challenge

I've been in BS today, but only for one off those face brushes - honest guv! but have ended up coming out with a strawberry body butter, shea body butter and gouranga berry conditioner (all samples) - like i haven't got enough stuff to work my way through - it would have been so rude to refuse them though - wouldn't it?:p
I also have a UU - the sublime mousse hair colour - WBA as I think this might be my HG hair colourant - simply because it was sooo easy to use - will wait and see how the colour lasts though before i confirm this:D
Wow! I have to drag the samples out of the SA's at BS - you must have magic powers
Nice to see a good review of the hair mousse - did the colour come out as you were expecting? I don't need to use mine just yet but have been put off a bit by reading what others have thought of it0 -
Forgot to say before, I really liked the bottle that came with the foam colour (it's nowt special but thought I might be able to jazz it up with acrylic paints etc) so I've cleaned it out and mixed a small amount of shampoo (one I hate namely Alberto Balsam green apple - makes my head itch ) with water as an experiment and I now have a foam hand wash in the bathroom ready for use when the BS mango shower gel (that was demoted to hand wash) runs out
:D:D
Now how MSE is that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sarah - I have to say that the colour is a shade darker than I wanted but thats my fault as I picked a darker blonde up (I'm rubbish and can't gauge my colour against the boxes). As soon as I showed my mate which one I'd got she immediately picked up a box a shade lighter and said but this is your hair colour. I've had the John Frieda mousse and couldn't do it myself as I couldn't get the mousse out of the bottle but this stuff was fantastic and soo easy to use................the only downside might be how the colour lasts......will have to wait and see on this bit
As for the SA in BS - I frightened her, me and everyone else in the shop when I put the face brush on the counter as it went down with a right clatter so think she gave them to me to get me out of the shop quick:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do we all have to go and slam stuff around on the counters in BS to get free samples?:rotfl::j0 -
That doesnt always work, I dropped a bottle of Davidoff - Cool Water Summer Dive today, it didnt smash (praise the lord) but the SAs just glared and The Partner practically dragged me out of Debenhams lol

If I did that I'd end up breaking things and having to pay for them - I don't think paying for toiletries I'm never gonna use is really the goal of this thread :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
In my defence I have to say that I thought I was putting the brush on the counter bristle side down - I hadn't noticed that the bristles were in a hard plastic case to protect them - hence the clatter - oops!!
:o
Anyways - DH says I now smell like a t*rts handbag - as I've strawberry body butter on one arm and shea butter on the other and I found a bottle of girligo under the bed so I've sprayed some of that on my legs:D:D
On the plus side my skin is lovely and soft:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

. I didn't see your message before we went thevicster but I popped into the library after we'd wandered round for ages and found the address on the website. So we popped down and returned DS's jeans. Another spendy day, I got a dress in Fatface and DD got a top. She then bought a scraf at H&M.
