Fab idea xoxo - have sent a PM. Dont think I'll be offering the Elle body butter though - it weighs a ton (ok slight exaggeration - but it is heavy) Will offer on my local freegle - I did that with some Avon botanicals that I reacted to and had a lot of replies.

Glad you asked - cos I didnt know either!

I love the serum too - surprisingly it doesnt set off my eczema and works well under makeup.

Incidentally if anyone has any recommendations for treating eczema that doesnt involve steroid creams please let me know. My eyes have suddenly flared up terribly with the warmer weather, and also the side of my mouth and one ear. :(

Pudsey - when my daughter had eczema we used BS aloe vera creams, it was the type of eczema that you grow out of when you are young but maybe they would work for you too.

Omg,I've just been dumped!!! (well - about 3hours ago!) he and his ex want to try again...
I honestly can't believe it - I really thought he was the one. He's just phoned me saying how sorry he is for hurting me,and that he's not sure he's not making a huge mistake, to which I told him that I was always. Going to get hurt and if he didn't try then he'd always wonder and that's worse. I'm using the play it really nice and make him feel really bad tactic..... And luckily he phoned when I temporarily stopped crying-so that was handy!! Don't think I can do anything other than tell him to take care and that I just want him to be happy, but any vibes to show him what a massive mistake he's making would be good..... :(

Oh trudij, massive hugs to you hon.

Oh trudij, massive dodgy group hug for you :grouphug:

Men are so stupid they can't see the perfect woman for them is staring them in the face :(:'(

I'm directing some of my 'you've made the hugest mistake of your life' vibes your way. We're all here for you hun, and we know you're amazing. He'll realise v soon I hope and come back to you. x

PudseySister1 uses Aveeno cream I think on nephew. He used to have it really bad when a baby. The homeopathic hospital recommended it for him, and our GP prescribes it. Still uses it and he's 8 now, as it does come back/flare up from time to time.

Feeling a bit down. Finally managed to get him online, spoke a bit about situation, I cried. He looked as hurt as me. We got cut off. Then still not heard anything after. But I never got to say goodbye, which is my need! So still in limbo :(

Met a friend for lunch, finally managed to eat something (though my nausea made me lose half later, sorry for the TMI). Went to HoF to get something for my sister, tried the new UD shadow pencils and highlighter. Naught SA tried to tempt me with UD15 liner collection; resisted. So didn't buy anything! Nails inc counter, tried the new silver with purple crackle, omg, I loved the crackle colour. Didn't buy as cheaper ol with rewards points.

Got an afternoon tea with friend from uni, sis and her friend. Don't want to go, would rather mope in bed, but its all booked.

xoxoWill pm you link later. Not really a user though do have an id.

So many of us have stalker type issues its frightening :( Mine calls between 10pm and 2am and doesn't say anything if answer. Last year had sms so number came up, saying I love you etc. Next time a call came I said I have your number, logging your calls and reported you to the police. But carried on. My oh then called, swore and threatened and calls stopped. Til about 2 weeks ago. T-mob say have to change number (don't want to as old contract on my dads bill from uni days, would have to tell him and he'd get worried) or report to police. Same issue. So I ignore it. Next time I'm going to answer and just ask outright why they call I think.

I know what you mean. I went to buy some Yankee Candles yesterday and they were even selling RW candles. The tackiest thing I've seen though is the Royal Garden Gnome couple in B&Q!

I don't know, I still think the Royal Wedding face masks in Cards Galore are 'winning' for me...

I was watching telly last night and saw the ad for Veet Hair Minimising lotion or some such thing and wondered if they really do work, and I thought to myself "hmmmm....I know who to ask"!!

    So, ladies, any recommendations?

I got this as a free trial with a magazine, and thought it was OK but it seems to work better if you use it after you've shaved your legs as I think it slows down the regrowth rather than 'minimising' hair that's already grown. I'm not 100% certain it works as I'm currently back on the Palmer's but it is a good moisturiser and doesn't smell too chemically. Not sure I'd have paid £5 for it though!

Going to add myself a little challenge in amongst all the others, don't know if anyone wants to join in....

Am going to try and wear make-up at least 2 times a week....

As I don't wear it often at the moment I'm a little dubious, but as I now have nice (Benefit) make-up that cries to be worn I'm going to try for a full face 2 days a week, and part face the rest (basically tinted moisturiser, blusher and lip balm)

Anyone want to join me on this?

    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
  • So sorry trudij, what a rubbish thing to happen. Sending hugs to you and "you're making a terrible mistake" vibes to him.

Sawan, hope you're feeling a bit better and enjoy your afternoon.

Have UU a Lush Maple Taffy lip balm. WNBA as although it worked well I wasn't keen on the smell.

Off to pm xoxo about the Facebook group :)

Oh Trudi... , all the love and hugs I could give you, I do. If it didn't work for him with his ex the first time round, it's unlikely to work the second time (speaking from personal experience). But let him go and find that out for himself.

Won't be able to join in the FB swapsies thing, do have a FB page but no info on it and only joined because someone put pictures of me on her page and I wanted to see what that was all about (she is someone from years ago who I don't see now and don't want to and she didn't have permission). Anyway not long after I started getting messages in my inbox from someone who used to stalk me (bit dramatic but true) a few years back and I was really upset so deactivated my account and never go near FB now.

Couple of ins today, 2 more of the xpanding hair cream things, only £2 at the moment and it is really nice. Also S/D have vaseline moisturisers at half price so i replaced my beloved Aloe Fresh for summer and also got the vitalising gel. Off to the naughty step me thinks:o

Vivh, if you don't fancy the facebook link (I'm not a member either) but you still like the idea of swapping stuff makeupalley have a board for swapping beauty products: http://www.makeupalley.com/swap/
