UU the Gok gold body wash last night, and gave away my Aussie Mega S&C to my daughter (no good for my red hair) along with a couple of perfume samples, Paris Hilton and Nina L'Elixir, which she says she loved and can she have some more! Cheeky mare! Its £30 a bottle so I've told her to wait till her b'day (end of Nov) :rotfl:

Have sold a few bits on Ebay, 2 Avon perfumes, Ted Baker bubble bath, cuticle oil, a couple of things from the Gok set.
And I've swapped a mini perfume on fragrantica.com, and possibly a couple of things on XOXO's FB group

Trudij- I know how you're feeling, it wasn't too long ago it happened to me, though I never wanted him back. He had a chance and blew so it, so BYE!! It hurts terribly though, and I'm still smarting from that. ((((HUGS)))) to you xx

Pudsey - when my daughter had eczema we used BS aloe vera creams, it was the type of eczema that you grow out of when you are young but maybe they would work for you too.

Good idea - I havent tried the BS range but aloe is very good for sensitive skin......have used it in the past - its just finding the pure stuff at a decent price.

PudseySister1 uses Aveeno cream I think on nephew. He used to have it really bad when a baby. The homeopathic hospital recommended it for him, and our GP prescribes it. Still uses it and he's 8 now, as it does come back/flare up from time to time.

That's a new one for me - thank you - might have to check that out.

I use E45 cream and Sudocream =s I get stress Eczema in the webs of my fingers, blimmin' sore when it cracks/hardens, and its just started expanding to my entire fingers/thumbs and down my wrist =s Docs soon methinks

E45 is one thing I can;t use despite many recommendations - it stings and I think sudocream might be a bit too thick and obvious for my face - I'll look like a ghost!!!

Off to read the rest of the posts - I seem to be only able to multi quote 3 or 4 posts before some start disappearing so I'll catch up later on the rest.

Not been in for a while...just been catching up... sending hugs to trudij and anybody else who needs one.

Have just had some bad news myself, my mum has just been diagnosed with breast cancer-such a shock. Hopefully it has been caught early but we have a few more days to wait until test results confirmed and treatment plan in place. Am trying to encourage her to take care, spend time pampering just to take her mind of it for the next few days-so have duly shared some of my goodies with her :)

Have had a few uu in the last week, can't remember exactly what as my thoughts are all over the place but:
Anatomicals Deep Cleansing Mud Mask-wba face felt fantastic afterwards& haven't had a breakout(as yet!)
Protect and Perfect Handcream mini (was GWP) wnba as found far too greasy
Dove Go Fresh mini deo Green Tea and Cucumber-wnba smelt pleasant but didn't feel like it was strong enough
Clinique Liquid Face Soap-wnba as doesn't feel cleansing enough for me

Am now using BS Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash and I love love love it.

I THINK I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE BODY SHOP AGAIN although I won't be going mad as due to my mums illness I will be probably helping my parents out with money as she will be unable to work for quite some time and my dad has been unemployed since he was diagnosed with cancer in November 2008 with only a few weeks agency work here and there.

I am normally such a private person and I haven't even told my friends about my situation atm but it feels so good to get it all out to a group of people so supportive (even though we have never met!!)

Sorry for the long post-feel much better and more positive now :)

Thanks people - Im not feeling quite so wet now (though not far off it!!) my friend messaged him this morning telling him that she was suprised to hear that he had finished with me, especially after seeing us together at Aintree - and while she wishes him all luck in his new relationship, she thinks that it was quite thoughtless to post the changed relationship status so soon when I am so devistated and hurt....

his reply was "yeah - I know ive hurt her really badly, I hated telling her" so that, coupled with him telling me that he wasnt sure he wasnt making a big mistake, and in a text today answering my "I hope she doesnt hurt you like before" with "hopefully she wont" does kind of imply (to me anyway!) that hes not very sure at all about getting back with her - my friend who was talking to me most of the night reckons the other girl has got wind of him having me - and decided thats not allowed - and the speedy status change thing would suggest that shes not far from the truth I guess - I havent looked at his profile yet - not ready to see that it says hes in a relationship with anyone else. Part of me wants him to realise that its not likely to work and come back to me - but theres a bigger part of me that just wants him to be happy, and if thats with her - then so be it. Id comment on his change of status with something suitably nice - like congrats pet, hope you are happy - but I dont want other comments to be messaged to my inbox if anyone else every bloody responds on it!!!

Hun, I know I dont know your circumstances or anything so please don't think Im out of line but in my opinion as others have said, there is a reason she was his ex. The way I see things is unless you break up for reasons like moving away etc then I think there's obviously going to be unresolved issues in the relationship.
What Im saying is if it turns out it doesn't work out with them - its probably likely hes going to come back to you. But, do you really want to be with a man like that? My point is I know it hurts like hell right now and Im sure part of you does want him back, but if he does want to come back to you then I honestly think you need to really think about it, after all why give him the pleasure of being able to pick and choose who he wants to be with and when?

From experience the worst thing I could have ever done would have been to get back with an ex in the first part but especially one who decides to as and when they want you. My ex was like that, to be fair we had a rubbish relationship anyway (loooong story) but after a row one day he ordered me out of his house, then after walking for about an hour back to my house he rings me demanding I went back there to his - not bleeding likely. He said if I didnt do as he said it was over between us. I said 'fine'. A month later he begged me to take him back to which I happily told him to shove it....

@ rachel84 just saw your post, all the best for your mum x

rachel - a very good friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan 2006, it was a massive shock, she was only in her 30's at the time, the NHS were fantastic, she was very well looked after, she had one breast removed and last year she had her reconstruction.

Hope it all works out well, massive hugs to you and your mum.

trudi - I agree with charlie, i did wonder if his ex had got wind of your relationship. I can honestly say if it was me and he came back if it didn't work out i would tell him to sod off.

I've been a very naughty girl today =[
    Quite afew in's
Veet Minimising Hair Lotion fo Dry/Normal Skin
Avon Clear Skin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub
Avon Clear Skin Professional Clarifying Toner Pads
Avon Clear Skin Professional Daily Correcting Lotion
Avon Moisture Seduction Lipstick in Red Kiss (in my defence, this was free due to a glitch/code)
    Avon Solutions Cellu-Sculpt
Avon Solutions Body Liquid Bra Lifting Gel
    Avon Solutions Stretchmark 24

The last 2 were free with this Cellu-Script too =s

On a side note, as I dont class it as a toiletry, I also bought the Wilkinson Sword Quattro Bikini Trimmer thing, with a razor 1 end and a trimmer the other, it came with a free bag for only £4.80-something =]

I feel so bad, but so good, haha
