Sorry to hear about your Mum Rachel, hope all goes well xXx
Couple of INs - 2 x Miss Sporty nail polishes (2 for £3), pale purple and a sort of metallic pink, can't wait to try the metalic one!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
OUT in the shower earlier - Lush Calacas shower jelly. Possibly WBA as I loved the scent but it did need a lot of effort to get it to lather up enough.Incidentally if anyone has any recommendations for treating eczema that doesnt involve steroid creams please let me know. My eyes have suddenly flared up terribly with the warmer weather, and also the side of my mouth and one ear.
Try Lush Dreamcream - I used to use that on my eczema (although mine tends to be more on my arms and legs) and it worked really well. If you get it on your body they also do a product called Dreamwash which has the same ingredients and might help.charlie792 wrote: »Found out about our uni May ball this year - so disappointed with it, last year they charged £30 (drinks extra) but this year its gone up to £45! basically they are using the excuse theyve book 4 big bands - which in fairness they have BUT I personally don't think they can justify the cost, surely just booking 2 would have been better and keep the cost down. No way Im going, not considering the drinks fiasco from last year (1.5hours to queue on the night to buy drinks tokens). Besides for 2 people to go, it would cost well over £150 - £90 tickets, £20 taxi etc and thats before the drink tickets or dress or anything else....Better off going for a slap up meal and a few drinks in my opinion.... £150 odd to spend standing in the uni grounds in a tent, maybe not.
I didn't go to my grad ball, mainly because not many people I knew were going and I went to the OH's the year before, which was OK but really expensive for what it was, so I didn't see the point of going again. Really sorry to hear about your mum Rachel. Sending best wishes to her.
Just got off the phone to my mam. She and my dad have got their court date, set for the end of April. Basically at the end of last year the stop tap in the cupboard under the stairs in their house burst and flooded the entire ground floor. The water also leaked through to next door (they live in a semi). My parents' insurance paid for replacement carpets, furniture etc in their house but next door didn't have insurance so decided to put a claim in against my parents (funny how they can't afford insurance but can afford an iPhone, foreign holidays and nights out ) Luckily my parents' insurance includes legal aid so they've had help fighting them. At least it will all be over soon and I hope next door don't get a penny. Disgusting people.
I hope everyone having to deal with rubbish man issues is pampering themselves and reminding themselves they deserve better. xxSealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Charlie - I dotn think bad of you at all - if it was me talking to a friend, its exactly what Id be saying!! Theres a reason she is an ex - shes a cow and almost broke him last time. Quite why he needs to go back for a second helping is anyones guess - but I wont be suprised if/when it all goes tits up in a few weeks time. The mutual friend said that it appears to have all come from her wanting him back, which just adds fuel to the theory that someone saw us at aintree (we werent hiding !!!) and word got back to her that he was with someone and looking happy...
Ive had enough (apart from the odd blip here and there!) now - 20 hours is quite long enough to mope about feeling sorry for myself, hes made his choice (or been told what his choice is!) and hes got to deal with it now. Im going to keep being friendly and nice (thus reminding him what he has left!) - and if he wants to come back to me (but I dont know that he will!!) then things will have to be very carefully thought about - I wont go through this again...
Ive done nothing wrong here - I wish he hadnt done this, but he has - its up to him now - if Im still single when he comes back tail between his legs then I will consider things - but Im not waiting about in the hope that he does.
Trudij - Big hugs - I have to say you are showing so much dignity in dealing with this stupid fella.
Sorry to hear about your mum rachel.
Sending postivie thoughts to both of you.
I have a couple of UUs Decleor Clay Mask which was quite nice to use but I think the price tag would put me off it now. So I WNBA. Have a few others lined up to be used so I am thinking it will be either the Bliss or the Molton Brown one.
Also UU a Johnsons Shower and Shave 250mls. I am now down to my last bottle of it in the stash :j Bulk bought them for £1 each and quite like it for its multi-purpose uses but I am a little bored of it now.

Evening all
trudij, sorry you've had a terrible day. Rachel, sorry about your Mum
. We lived in a flat once and the chap in the flat next to ours tried to kill himself by nailing his door shut and setting fire to it. Thankfully, they got to it before it spread and damage was done. There were no fire walls in the lofts and we would have lost everything we owned. We didn't have insurance those days as we rented but we do now.
We've had a lush day, bike ride at 9.30 for a while then off to do a murder mystery tour in another town. Then MiL's for a massive tea. Such lovely weather. I wore my lovely new dress http://www.fatface.com/skirts-and-dresses/wrap-front-butterfly-dress/invt/30356/&bklist=icat,4,shop,womenswear,womensskirtsdresses only now, I've just seen £20 off wys £90 online and we spent £65
