She was a beautiful 11 year old I had had since she was a kitten. Her sister tried to lick her when she saw the body,I can't stop crying and will miss her so much.Dh had to bury her before driving off to cardiff so will be home alone tonight.
just wanted to share with you all as we support each other a lot
Hi - just reading through the posts to keep up and saw this.
So sad for you Rosemary - I am a cat person too. Remember all the happy times.
I lost my Tigger last year, she died on my neighbours doorstep, just didn't wake up. My other cat was sad for a long time - although they weren't siblings. Your other puss will need lots of love and attention - like mine. He just couldn't understand where she was.

Another UU: Cerruti Image body lotion.
WIBA? Smells gorgeous, but am not the biggest fan of lotions that come with perfumes as I somehow never end up using them. This one was so old it was nearly collecting its bus pass!
Onto Seavite body lotion, probably - and thankfully - the last of the really old ones. Please call me 'Pickle'

Rosemary, I'm so sorry about your cat, what an awful thing to happen.
Charlie, good luck with your dissertation! You'll feel amazing when you hand it in!
I had a great time thanks EssexHebridean, it was really interesting and there was loads to see and do (waterfalls, geysers, Viking settlements) but cold!
Had a bath tonight to use some Lush liquid bubble bath I bought for a change!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Thanks for the tips about scrubbing for milia, I do use a scrub daily as I'd heard that before but I just get lots of them
I had one on the bridge of my nose for aaaaaaages!
I'm so tired tonight, didn't sleep that well although I slept for a long time IYSWIM. At least tonight's my last night. Goodness me was I busy last night!
Oh, I missed those posts. Can someone recap for me? I suffer terribly with milia and think I'll go and buy a tube of Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub today. This always works at clearing them again but I think my problem is that I scrub too much. Have been using the S&G Scrub Your Nose in It - has this caused them do you think?
Was very good last night and was not tempted to buy the Elemis One Time Only on QVC. It was a fab price as you were paying for one and a half tubs of Pro Collagen Marine Cream (have one on the go and two in stash) and the Oxygenating Night Cream (which I've tried once and is lush) and then getting smaller sizes of cleanser, exfoliator and mask for free. It was on four easy pays as well but the thing is I can't really afford it. Once upon a time I wouldn't have cared if I could or not but at the moment I'm only in a temporary job which isn't even a temporary contract - it's casual and at a week's notice I could be finished. I'm off work this week as it's the school holidays and don't get paid for time off so can't see the point in putting another £15.00 on the CC because I'd have to pay the whole amount of the product off anyway if I got laid off and will be short of cash anyway and b) I have other priorities at the mo ie school shoes for Emma.
As mentioned in my last post I watched the Leighton Denny hour this morning so I wouldn't be tempted to buy the One Time Only offer in that hour. Was not impressed by the colours anyway. Off the polish the halo. x:ABack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

thanks for all the hugs from everyone, they really did help.I have to go past where she died (and can see it form my window)everyday and can still see her blood on the road.We went round some open gardens yesterday and had tea and the tea was served in a rainbow teapot!!!!I bought a card of a white fluffy cat that made me think of bumble as an angel cat:)I thought I was the soppy female in the family but my menfolk have been just the same ,DH didn't want to let Purdy out at night.Purdy although smaller than Bumble was the "boss" cat but seems a lot quieter now with no one to boss:(
back to tolietries,uu the night serum I was testing for boots, just shows how much you need as it was a 4 week trial and am only 3 weeks into it and all gone where normal serum I use would last a lot longer.def WNBA!0 -

:rotfl:
Me and Jeremy clarkson at a dinner party would be lighting blue touch paper and stand well back, I can't even stand to see or hear that man for one second, it fascinates DH when I go into a rant over him:rotfl:The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Another UU - woo hoo! This one - Body Shop Warming Japanese Saki Bath Gel - has taken absolutely ages. (I've been using it as a shower gel as I don't do baths very often.
WIBA? Probably not, given that it's a bath gel. It does smell nice, but it wouldn't be anything like my HG of Original Source Mint and Tea Tree Shower Gel, which is, quite frankly, the schizzle! Please call me 'Pickle'

ValM, scrubbing every other day or so is supposed to clear milia and they go away on their own, more might come but you can just keep going and it should keep them to a minimum. I used St Ives scrub, the blemish one, and it is lovely, gentle but effective and good value too.
Well done on resisting the QVC stuff, this is not one of my problems as I never watch it, does seem pricey though. Sometimes I work out how many hours i will have to work to pay for something and that really puts it into perspective.
I am really struggling with my Flake Away, have used it twice now, the mess in the bath is a pain but i can cope with that, what I really don't like is that nothing lathers up on my skin when i have used it, so when I try to wash using shower gel and a puff the bubbles just die. Massive pot and i really don't know what to do with it.
EH - hope you have a fab holiday, I have always fancied visiting that area, i love remote areas, fresh air and just walking.
Happy belated birthday lovethembargains, hope you had a nice day.:bdaycake:The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Charlie - good luck today getting your dissertation in! And glad you and OH were in agreement about not taking that job, does sound like it would have been awful if you felt you had no other choice.
Just popping in to report a couple more ins, but not anything I'm feeling guilty over - just a sunscreen and aftersun lotion, which was needed for the gorgeous weather and not something I had any of! And a new eyeshadow (replacement of the collection 2000 one I'm currently using and is spluttering, so wanted another) - although this will mean I need to look at my other eyeshadows tonight and seriously think whether I will use them!!
