Wow - well done to the glam lady in the corner LT! :T I know what you mean about eyebrows - I hate doing mine, and hate even more that there ALWAYS seems to be a few little stragglers that you see next time you look in a mirror from a slightly different angle! :mad:

Going to go and stick my head under the shower in a second and stick on an intensive conditioner, which I'll leave to soak in for a bit. My hair's going to be at the mercy of the elements for the two weeks we're in the Hebrides and as I have no intention of taking a treatment with me, it makes sense to do that now!

i've decided to go for a pampering session tonight with a mix n match selection of products: soap and glory calm one calm all bubbles along with an M&S cherry scented shower gel. For good measure used some Boots brazil nut scrub and finished off with a wild cow body lotion that was free with a magazine.

Now waiting for my nails to dry and tying carefully!

hi all
i have a few ins to report it was my birthday on friday and my mum had brought me one of the £40 s&g sets from boots although it was something that i asked for so ill put my self on the naughty step for that! i also got some more nail polishes aswell but i did chuck out 4 yesterday, if anyone remembers the glitterbabes range they did in boots years ago, i had a red a green glitter polish from them which look gross!

nearly forgot i have one other in cutex nail polish remover went round town on both fri and sat (once with partner, once with mum) with the promise that they would buy me something and that was all i got along with my new sunglasses and new handbag :j :j

also finished a aldi's wrinkle stop - dunno if i would buy again, my skin care regime is pretty hit and miss at the moment so dunno if its done any good, will wait til i have used up a lot more stuff before giving it a try

also aiming to finish up a few nail varnishes, have loads but never wear them, so started tonight both fingers and toes painted after a good buff which toes badly needed as been neglecting them since got back from hols in feb

started using a boots mango scrub but it leaves a greasy/sticky residue unless I really soap it all off afterwards. Is it meant to do that as some kind of moisturising thing or is it just rubbish? OH said it made the shower really slippy too. Shame cause it smells really nice and it's a massive tub.

Might sell/give away some unopened scrubs if it's a common thing because i can't be bothered with it

V nearly used up a S&G hand food. Only a mini tube but it's been on the go for ages left on my dresser for when my hands feel dry. I'll cut it open when I've squeezed it to death but after that it's position is being filled by a cowshed one (marie claire). I find the smell too strong/strange to put it on all over but at least I don't hate the one I got as much as some of you guys! It smells like cinnamon covered turkish delight according to OH



ps... what's HG stand for? I take it it's some kind of positive sentiment

Holy grail, I think. An item you absolutely must have/is essential to your routine/can't do without/is your favourite etc etc etc I think HG purchases are allowed and mean you avoid the naughty step, especially if they're on offer :money:

FCUK Polished Sugarscrub - WIBA? - hmmm - for the smell, I would as it smells absolutely lovely. However it is another of these that leaves the sort of slightly greasy coating on your skin - very moisturising, but not entirely something I like, so on balance, I would have to say no. I do have another one in the stash, but can't face going onto it so have pulled out my S&G breakfast Scrub which smells FABULOUS! Looking forward to trying that in the next few days! My John Frieda Frizz Ease heat Protecting Serum is also now spluttering - I reckon the first couple of washes when we get back from hols should see that off.
