Good luck finishing your dissertation, Charlie! :T:T:j0

Well - now doing not so good:o
Move over on the naughty step please!
Beauty day on QVC - have not even had the TV on, they e-mailed me to tell me! HAD to have a look and see if Laura Geller B&B was in stock, and it was. So bought 2 in order to be sure that never run out. This is a HG product for me, and is never in stock when I need it. So try and keep ahead of the game when I see it!
Feel bad for myself that I HAD to do it - but I shut the site down and am going to watch a film while I paint my nails. Will not give in to temptation and switch to 640!
See, I don't think that is bad as you have bought a HG product and haven't added to an already growing stash of BnB. I use that as well although I do have a stash as I bought a TSV last year on AD.
I watched a tiny bit of Beauty Day this morning but it was the SBC show which I have no interest in. We then went out as my daughter was attending a Martial Arts Self Defence course and though we had planned to leave her there we ended up staying to watch. Came back about 2.45pm and watched the end of the Leighton Denny show which had nothing new in it. Did notice that there is a OTO offer on a set of four LD lacquers called Military Precision collection and whilst the colours looked meh on his Facebook page I was kind of hoping to see them live but they weren't on that show and the next one is not until 11.00pm tonight which I won't stay up for. Besides that there's an OPI TSV on 4 May!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I don't have a massive problem with horse racing as such just the national. Unfortunately the horses don't understand the risk they are taking. I've had horses since I was 5 and you are right they will only do what they want. I know accidents happen at other races but it just seems to be almost every time at the national and it gets so much publicity. Don't even get me started on motor racing - another one of my bug bears - me being a bit of an enviromentalist and all.
You know that "fantasy dinner party" idea where you have to come up with six people you'd invite? I want you and Jeremy Clarkson at mine!:rotfl:
Filled my basket online at BS today 7 items and a free full size BB for spending £30 online, 10% LYB discount and free delivery. Then shut the site down and left it at that, only half pleased with myself as would have been better if I wasn't even on there.
If that's what you need to do, then brilliant - main thing is you didn't press the checkout button!charlie792 wrote: »Just checking in - spent half the day out in the sun at OH's folks house washing OH's car, they've been doing roadworks down our way all week and it was thick with dust...nice to be outside though....Good news is we found some scratch remover and managed to get pretty much all of the scratches I put in the bonnet when it snowed....I'd gotten a little carried away with digging the car out
Am off to COMPLETE my dissertation tonight, finish referencing it, write the contents pages and add the appendix's etc...then print the 80 or so pages ready for tomorrow when Ill get it bound and hand it in!...With the exception of my two exams + my graduation this is the last time Ill go back to uni, so sad but thankfully we're all local so will try and keep in touch and see each other now and again....
Good luck getting finished Charlie! :T
Absinthe hope the holiday was marvellous? We're off to the Hebrides for a fortnight later this week - I can't WAIT!!! :j
I've put some of those sachets from my buys yesterday into my bag of bits to go on hols as this will mean I don;t have to take my tube of eye cream. I reckon 5 of those sachets will see me right through. I have also split up the Molton Brown gift set of minis that I got at christmas as one of my "things" is hating to break apart gift sets. The soap has gone to the bathroom, and the other bits are all in the travel stash basket.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sorry haven't been here much lately. Seems all my time is spent job hunting now :-( More than ever I have the desire to get more smellies, but I just cannot afford them anymore. To the point I almost feel sorry when one of my HGs run out!
My uus in the last few weeks include:
-Hello Hydration deep conditioner, wnba, nothing special
-Elasticizer, sachet, w-defo-ba! HG for me. (As soon as I get a job I'll treat myself to a big pot... any ideas of where to get it for the best value?)
-Lush new hair shampoo bar, wba, but still 2-3 more shampoos in stash.
-Neutrogena clay 3-in-1 face wash/scrub/mask, w-prob-ba, it was a freebie for a test. Pretty good as a wash, not sure about scrub/mask.
-Apricot scrub (blemish type), wba, HG for me, 2 more in stash.
-Simple face wipes, wnba, skin didn't quite feel clean, but then again, I feel that way with all brands of wipes...
I've a few splutterers of various things, so this looks like a good month to run down the stash, though I'm trying to use up the nasty stuff first and use the nice things sporadically (I know, not very pink candle, but unemployment is not an optimist's friend!).
Enjoy the sunshine ladies!0 -
Thanks for the tips about scrubbing for milia, I do use a scrub daily as I'd heard that before but I just get lots of them
I had one on the bridge of my nose for aaaaaaages!

Just a quickie, 1 UU Nice & Easy conditioner, the one you get when you colour your hair. Has left my hair nice and soft and before the challenge I would never have used them up, just used to chuck them in the bin and use my own conditioner, got another 5 of these to go but will get their! And have decided that the money I save is going towards and ipad:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

Not long back from Liverpool, and FAR too tired to read through all the posts - so can I send a big dodgy hug to anyone who needs them, good luck for anyone who needs that and a big shiny fat welcome to the newbies??
Bfs (sorry - dont call him that, but him!!) horse won on Saturday, so that was fab - and he came and found me after, so I can most definatley say that the best way to watch the national is in the arms of someone would could be very very special....
and one IN - Bed Head Curls Rock spray - from my friend - she had two and loves that I love my hair curly (though she straightened it for me for the races!!) so shes given me it to try...
no UUs....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
UU S&G flake away scrub, WNBA because it leaves a sandpit in the bath and makes my skin and the bath and my towels really greasy. Still one to use up though. Scrubbed my skin to within an inch of its life to UU that tub tonight :rotfl: I may have no skin left by next weekend i'm determined to use the last one up so I can move on to something nicer.:j0

Oh yes EH the spendy elves have definitely moved in with me - we bought some new furniture yesterday
Mr LT is working a night shift tonightso i thought i would treat myself to a lovely shower and foot soak.
Managed to UU a VO5 hot oil treatment. I'm using tresemme shampoo and the Pantene Ice stuff and i'm sure it's drying out my hair so i thought i would use the hot oil up whilst i had a reason to.
also used up the Sanctuary Relaxing Foot Soak - really wanted to use my Boots Prepare to Bare foot fizz but i thought using up the last of the Sanctuary stuff would get me a UU and i've not had any yet this month.
so two today yay!
During my pamper session today i have used:
VO5 hot oil hair treatment
Tresemme shampoo
Colour protection conditioner (from a hair colourant)
No7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator
Sanctuary salt scrub
simple baby talc
Sanctuary Relaxing foot soak
Boot prepare to bare foot polish
later i will use my Mande lular body souffle, Virgin Vie foot gel
i'm quiet proud of myself as i can't ever remember using so many products in a week let alone an evening. Oh and i've done my first full body brush and plucked and shaped my eyebrows which is another job i hate doing.0
