Good luck with the dissertation Charlie, sort that out, then sort the rest out....

Kaz - that pinny is sooooo covetable, I know it wouldn't suit me but yay to Ulster Weavers for making something beautiful out of something so mundane.

Trudi - - x fingers, it all sounds good.

Scrappie - what a worrying time, but with a diagnosis, that will make things easier and the wheels should start turning

Pudsey - I'm really sorry you had a rubbish day. Next year perhaps the girls will be able to organise something themselves. I didn't hear from my daughter (really unusual) but I know she was busy.

A UU - the 60ml BS White Musk body lotion. WIBA? Well, no. Very runny, rubbed in ok but ridiculously overpriced for a lightly scented, very average lotion. I like White Musk but I don't like this.

Tried out my new Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends hair mask. Very pleasant scent, did take a bit of washing out, but has also left hair soft, quite glossy, and in something like its normal state.
TG for that seeing as I have 400 g of the stuff, with the BOGOF! I'm actually really pleased with it.

talking about pinnies my mum bought us all one this christmas. Mine said 'shut up and eat!' and my BIL's said pr!ck with a fork. (they actually get on really well and he loved it), i think my sister's said something about always cooking with alcohol.

I think i'm now at the stage where i won't get any UU's for months when it comes to shampoo/conditioner or shower gel. Unfortunately because of my stash records i now know it's taken me 3 months to use half a bottle of shower gel! how am i ever going to get through my stash at this rate?

So, DH was rooting around in a cupboard earlier looking for a lead and he pulled out an envelope which had been shoved to the back. In it was a s*dding white musk BS gift set with soap, gel, lotion and EDT. I HATE white musk- GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have cut the top off a fcuk body lotion - almost finished, WIBIA possibly yes, but not at the moment and probably not in the next year :rotfl:
Also almost used up a Arnica cream, had a very nasty fall yesterday so been using it. This is a kind of toiletries as I have loads of first aid items stockpiled as well, just in case!
I'm back to the TescoDTD thread, sorry although I am trying to avoid the toilertries. Also hear the BS has a 50% sale in store so may visit with my Groupon voucher as need to redeem it soon! :p
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

    Hi everyone

Haven't been around for a while as laptop couldn't get connection - so apologies and see we are well into April

Sorry that I can't read all the posts but will try to keep up now

Please add me to the list lizziebabe

Now DS is home from Uni he has had a look at the laptop and all it was - I had turned off the internet button on the front of the offending machine aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! I am hopeless
Anyway am now going to enjoy trying to catch up .....
  • Dooyoo sounds like a good idea AbsintheFairy - I'm trying to write more product reviews on my blog so might as well transfer some of those across and make a wee bit of cash at the same time! (And I went to York too! When were you a student there if you don't mind my asking? Which college? What did you study? *is nosy*)

Go for it! I should warn you it's addictive though - you know how this thread makes you want to buy products - well Dooyoo does that but without limiting it to toiletries! I've probably spent more than I've earned because of that site :rotfl:

I studied History at York from 2003 to 2006. As for college, I was a Derwentian - still can't listen to Andy Williams' Can't Take My Eyes Off You without wanting to chant, "Derwent, Derwent, Der-der-der-der-der"! How about you?

Today I UU a Happy 4 Sad Shower Gel from Lush. WIBA? Well I can't as it's been discontinued, but not sure I would anyway - it was nice but there are others I prefer.

Hoping to UU some of my mini toiletries this week - I'm off to Iceland tomorrow - eeek, it's completely crept up on me!

I was looking for that here earlier to put on dd's finger.......but I think it got culled when i checked through the first aid box a couple of months ago and got rid of everything that was out of date!

We were sniffing that the other week.......but told the kids we need to finish off some of the shower gels at home and then I'd buy it.

PS. it is only me that wouldnt be seen dead in a pinny???? I mean, it's lovely, but on me? no way!!
