Hugs for everyone injured (seem to be a few of us at the moment!!) and also for people having cruddy times - hope everything works out and you all get things sorted suitably...
On the phone last night, apart from being incredibly cheeky (which if i remember correctly usually is the nearest lads get to foreplay...) he said he didnt want anyone else - and not in the sort of tone that suggests he doesnt want anyone at all - so I think maybe my sit tight and play things by ear is the right thing to do - thankyou all so much for putting up with me and my dilemmas!!! (guess the first proper thing I will find out with is when he goes out and gets plastered - the calls are funny and fun normally, and generally alcohol is what makes you brave enough to say what you want - even when you dont mean to !!)
one UU on the cards - Im off to the hairdressers later and shes going to do my hair with one of my clairol foam things.
OH - and one in from last night - though I dont have any and Im goign to use it tonight - so it doesnt count really - Immac (or veet or whatever its called!!)Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
I'd heard that way of dealing with the bigger tunnels in very windy weather too Kaz so there must be something in it. I must admit when we had our extremely gusty night at Ludlow last september I was extremely glad it was MrEH's turn for the 3am dash to check the pegs - I'd done the previous one (on site in Norfolk) when it was windy, but dry, in Ludlow it was anything BUT dry. In fact, he stripped to just his pants (he usually sleeps in a tee-shirt as well when camping) and then changed those when he got back to the tent, so at least he just had to towel off!
Forgot - UU'd up that little sample of BS Hemp Hand Protector last night. WIBA? No - I found it greasy and not particularly moisturising. Add to that the fact that it smelt rank and there is going to be no temptation for me to buy it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

No UUs today, although my Lush Calacas shower jelly is spluttering so hopefully I'll have finished that by the end of this week. However all my stuff that I couldn't move down by myself is coming tomorrow which gives me more stuff to work through and find space for!Absinthe_Fairy wrote: »Go for it! I should warn you it's addictive though - you know how this thread makes you want to buy products - well Dooyoo does that but without limiting it to toiletries! I've probably spent more than I've earned because of that site :rotfl:
I studied History at York from 2003 to 2006. As for college, I was a Derwentian - still can't listen to Andy Williams' Can't Take My Eyes Off You without wanting to chant, "Derwent, Derwent, Der-der-der-der-der"! How about you?
I studied English from 2006 to 2009 (so we just missed each other!) and was in Goodricke - but not Cell Block C!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Afternoon Ladies!
Have a few UUs to report after my hen weekend:
John Frieda Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner (miniatures) - nothing special to be honest so probably WNBA.
Fenjal Luxury Bath Foam - this was years old so didn't smell as nice as I remembered - probably WNBA. The moisturising body spray that came with the bath foam seems to have retained it's nice smell and I have that on the go at the minute.
I am on the last dregs of my Issey Miyake perfume so that should be a UU in the next few days. The OH managed to get through all the annoying hotel shower gels over the past couple of weeks but he found another 2 miniature hotel soaps while he was doing it so a very unintentional IN to report!
I was having a look through my stash last night and I have 4 No7 exfoliators that look as though they have separated through age. I'm going to try and use these up on my legs and arms in place of using a body scrub. I need to try and think up a use for all the cream cleansers / hair creams I have - any suggestions?
Hugs to everyone that needs them.

Well I have 3 UUs to report...
Bottle of Aussie Shampoo
Bottle of Aussie conditioner
Original Source shower gel
Finally got rid of them! Had the shampoo since last June and the shower gel since September. Sorted out all my stuff and I have SOOO many shower gels to get through now so don't really know what to crack open next - think it might be the DKNY one....
Gah, still not got any further on my dissertation, so unmotivated its ridiculous - spent the entire day yesterday applying for jobs and today I slept until almost 1  just could not keep my eyes open, Id wake up every hour or so and think about getting up, and then it would be even later....not done that for a while!
OH went to book the holiday last night and saw I was uncomfortable with the whole thing, I made it clear that I dont even have enough to pay the rent or bills let alone £400 for my half of a holiday...(Ive been saying this for weeks anyway) but heyho, so we had a big row - well he had a big row at me, I just couldnt be bothered. He yelled that I should 'get of my fat, lazy !!!! and get a f***ing job then' - honest to god don't know what the hell he think's Ive been trying to do for the past year. Eventually he calmed down and came into the bedroom to find me crying my eyes out - told me to stop being silly and that he wanted to pay for the holiday etc, I said it wasn't just that in reality - I hardly expect him to pay £400 for a holiday for me, not when hes going to have to be paying out an extra £400 a month just to keep a roof over our heads - he said he'd sort it and that my job situation won't be forever - honestly not holding my breath.
In the end no holiday got booked - OH went to do it but the website went down as they were updating it and it kept saying his date of birth didnt match the search page? Anyway the site started working again about half hour later but the price rocketed by another £200.
Ive been trying to rack my brains for anything and everything to get money but I don't even have anything worth selling, how lame is that? Honestly my best situation I can think of is to phone my dad and try and see if theres any jobs going at his work (supermarket) but that means moving back home because its all crap hours and only part time and I can't be dealing with getting a train and bus 40 miles everyday for a 6hour shift or so.....
Signing up to every survey site going this afternoon......
Good news is we got some good bargains in Tesco last night, cheese on B1G2F so that should have us sorted for a few weeks and we even got free foodSomething should have been on BOGOF but it charged us for both, went to the customer service desk and got DTD back so both were totally free - good times!

I love the EM foot cream it works easily into the skin and smells lovely. Could it be OOD?
Dont think so.....I think it was the contrast with the Moringa to be honest....maybe I shouldnt have slathered that on before opening the EM foot cream to test!
It definately sinks in quickly and leaves feet soft. And the scent now (yes I have just sniffed my foot!!) smells nicer than my normal feet smell! :rotfl:
I can still smell the Moringa tooXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Hiya
Hope everyone is well???
Having a lazy day as its been injection dayso just sat with her laid on my chest.... We had proper tears, but now she's just a bit cranky!
We love camping, the 10 yr old loves meeting other kids and playin all day.... We bought a Sunncamp Shadow 800, as we"re planning on going down to Cornwall for a week in August, so need a bit more room, especially with the LO. We booked for Skegness for the Royal Wedding weekend and we're going to Fisherground in Cumbria for Easter! EH - i'll have a look at the Norfolk site as not really that far for us! We have electric, but the prices are extortionate, so we tend to go without. We only insist on a play area really (toilets & showers are expected as standard :rotfl:) as if Cal is happy we're happy....
Happy 30th Birthday Fixx

lush soft coeur massage bar- WIBA? maybe. It smelt nice and I like using massage bars before bed because they smell so nice and just leave them to sink in. This was quite small and didn't last long so for £4 quite expensive. Half of it was chocolate anyway which I can't even use:rotfl:
avon glycerine hand cream-WIBA? not sure, it was nice, not greasy and always on offer but I want to try S&G hand food next:D
trying to use up a lush yummy shower gel but it is truly awfulsmells nice but doesn't lather up and I end up using half the bottle in one shower:eek:also separated and gone weird and lumpy after about a week of opening it. at about £3-4 for a 100g bottle, I expect a lot lot more:mad:

SJP- I've looked at Fisherground campsite before, have you been there before. If you read my earlier posts I hate being on a campsite where the noise rules are not enforced, I'm not some grumpy old biddy but think everyone needs to sleep and people shouting and balling all night isn't on, I wonder if they enforce it here, sounds like they do from the rules page. If you have any further info would you let me know. TIAThe devil makes works for idle hands0
