To the right is what I actually ordered, the Lavender Trio (Clean Hands Gel, 75ml hand cream, 125g soap). The sachets at the bottom are the two free samples I chose (a brightening mask and a rose hand gel). The shower gel, body milk, soap, mini hand cream and sachet came in the (free gift) little bag, which is super, super cute & I'm definitely keeping (and using) :)

Oooh, just catching up, this is gorgeous - I want the bag most of all!!!! Wicked temptress!!:rotfl:

Just to say - I stayed at a Champneys resort last month and was talking to one of the therapists, apparently MrS is no longer selling there stuff. They have done a big deal with Mr B and will be relaunched later this year!!!

Oh heck - it was far easier to avoid Mr S than it ever will be avoiding going into Mr B. Looks like some advantage points could be used up when all the stuff is in the shops!

Number of NSBD in April so far - 2 -100%

Oooh, lucky you going to Champneys and ooooh goodies to their stuff coming back but groan at it being in Boots...I've been doing really well keeping out of there recently!

Sarah - you don't need anything! They reduced the sale stuff further last time round, so if you do need something, see if you can hold out - I got all my stuff on sale plus BOGOF!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Well Im still not allowed to thank individual posts - so just one HUGE thankyou to everyone - I have come to the conclusion that I am worrying over nothign - he wants to see me, and Im just going to subtly bowl him over with my immense fabulosity, and hopefully when he goes home in July, he will miss me so much that he realises that he wants to make things a bit more official when he gets back. (and lets face it - going the the "gym" will never be so much fun as it is at the moment ;))
Felt a right tit today - Ive been out delivering posters for a client evening at work, and had the radio on - was sat at traffic lights when Ken Bruce played the new Rumour song "goodbye girl" which is all about her talking to someone telling them that she knows they have been hurt and that they are scared to get hurt again and its stopping them loving her..... found myself in floods of tears, about half a mile away from a drop off - how daft did I feel??!!!:rotfl:

    Thats a gorgeous apron !!!!

Bath for me later - but no UU on the horizon I dont think, though I may yet colour my hair tonight so that its done for the weekend...

Oh charlie, you poor thing. Just focus on the last 3000 words of your dissertation, then when it's in and finished with, then you can decide what to do about OH. It can feel very hard having to be financially reliant on someone else espescially if they are belittling you in other ways. Seems odd that he's making comments about your not having had a shower when he hasn't either though.

I got my drains cleared again thankfully so no hefty call out fee for me. I'm just waiting for my jeans to dry in the TD so that I can go and have a bath then I can get out to town to collect my parcel which wasn't delivered on Friday (cause I didn't get out of bed). I thought it was going to be a cutting mat but that arrived today and the lady postie said it wasn't a redilvery as it had no sticker on it so it might be my templates for cutting out my squares for quilting :D. The regular postie has also just delivered my mothers day gift. Naughty DH! I had found a Pandora bracelet ages ago that was reduced so I asked if I could get that from the kids for mothers day so he got that but then he went and ordered me the most lushious pinnie I've ever seen! I'll see if I can find a link..... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ulster-Weavers-Ginger-Shaped-Cotton/dp/B0040L09P6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1301918302&sr=8-1 it's lush! It even has pockets and a brooch made out of a ruffle and a button. I am THAT Mum who goes out in the road in pinnie and slippers to get the kids in for their tea but so is my neighbour :D

Wow, that is one pretty pinnie, be careful not to splash all over it when you cook.

  • No UUs from me since moving, but I've opened my Scrub Of Your Life and also found six lipglosses in the bag of stuff I brought down last week so will update the list shortly.

Dooyoo sounds like a good idea AbsintheFairy - I'm trying to write more product reviews on my blog so might as well transfer some of those across and make a wee bit of cash at the same time! (And I went to York too! When were you a student there if you don't mind my asking? Which college? What did you study? *is nosy*)
For toiletries we don't have Lush or BS but we do have Savers, Superdrug, Boots, Wilkinsons, a pharmacy, Poundstretcher and Boyes, which is a North of England small scale department store that sells the sort of thing you didn't think they made any more. It's where you would be likely to find bath salts and bath cubes, hairnets and setting lotion, home perms, gift sets with talc in and brands you thought had disappeared years ago. I love rummaging round in there, it's wonderfully nostalgic.

The town I was born in had a Boyes - I'm not sure if it's still there though, it's years since I went back. I wonder if it was originally a Yorkshire thing as I've never seen one anywhere else!

My sister's husband is from New Zealand, and when she lived out there my mum got Mother's Day cards from her on both Mother's Days (I think it's in May over there). Sis became a mum herself last year and is now hinting similarly to my brother in law:rotfl:

Oh, I know, I'll be in agonies about getting it dirty :o. I showed my neighbour earlier and she said "Ooooh, Kaz, that's so you :D". It really is! Over my jeans that I live in that is :rotfl:.
I can't wait for my bath tonight. I think I 'may' have a UU. Hopefully so :).

    Afternoon ladies!

I'm very proud of myself today :rotfl:

I went to boots.. didn't buy a thing.

I went to BS... didn't buy a thing.

I went to Topshop to look at the NV... didn't buy a thing.

I went to Lush... didn't buy a thing.

I went to Superdrug... didn't buy a thing.

Yayyyy go me :j :j :rotfl: A day of shopping with no ins! :D Now... if only I could stop buying unnecessary clothes. Is there a 'no more clothes & shoes' challenge? :rotfl:

I will update & post my list later :) I know I have a UU but I can't remember what it is until I go upstairs.

One in today. Ted Baker limited edition bodywash (1/3 off in Boots so only £2.77) I need it though because I only have enough for one more use of the Boots Royal Jelly bodywash (and that is the last of my bodywash stash! :j) which I wouldn't buy again because the longer I used it the less I liked the smell. Never tried Ted Baker before but this smelled so nice in the shop I thought I would give it a go.

The pharmacy next to my surgery is a Boots - thankfully it's only a small one :D

Have antibiotics from the GP - and had to pop into Boots to get it filled and for once there was something in Clearance I actually NEED :rotfl: No toiletries - but I needed to get some ear plugs as I have a hole in my eardrum and can't get any water in it - and there was a box of 6 silicone earplugs on clearance for £1.50 :T

A small IN - I got some Almond & Vanilla Bath Bombs - generic, no brand I can see :p - from Home Bargains for 99p. I don't have any bath bombs or bath oils so I figured I'd treat myself - and maybe the vanilla fragrance will calm my need to buy the entire Spiced Vanilla stock of BS :rotfl::rotfl:

Early night tonight for OH and I - busy few days ahead and I'm already exhausted - don't even think I'll be awake for Glee :(
