Happy Easter everyone! I am having a lovely long weekend :j hope you all are too - sending happy vibes to thems who are having troubles...

oooh Vivh- good buy in bargain corner on the sanctuary stuff!!

Had a VNPI yesterday - went to Cambridge for the day with bf and the market had a stall with some lovely natural/handmade soaps....!!! One of them smelt lovely mint and something - reminded us of our trips to Bath Spa :o - put it back and WALKED AWAY....was really hard!

Got a lovely Winnie the Poo Earth Day bag from Disney store - is is Sarah that has a bag fetish? It goes lovely with my Tatty Teddy one to take to the car boot...

UUd a minging mini Champeys hand cream - Rose - have been using it on my legs and feet as couldn't smell it from that far away then using a nice cream for my top half!! Have opened S&G Daily Smooth - oooooh that is lurverly!

Got a bike at the car bootie for £16 today - bargain! Another family were looking at it but walked away to get the rest of the family to discuss this - for about the third time. The bike was MINE!! Rules of the bootie - as soon as you put item/down, walk away, it's fair game, LOL!! It's a bit old but 2 new tyres and seems in good nick.

Must start packing for Devon soon - hope the weather is nice but not too hot....not very fussy am I!! :j
:EasterBun Nom noms to my lovely white easter Lindt Bunny! (Look at Lolcats if you don't know nom noms but love cats, LOL!!)
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

my moisturiser could become a splutterer in a week/fortnight if i actually use it once a day. when i put my fingers in the tub they hit the bottom and the level isn't over the top of my nails so with some effort i could achieve something.

    :rotfl:You go for it LT!!!

Ouch Charlie!! Maybe best to get it checked out.

I couldn't heave myself off the sofa tonight so didn't get my toenails done tonight which I will regret tomorrow when selecting my shoes for the sunshine *crosses fingers*.

858.gif Now I should go to bed as I am so tired but it is just not happening...

oooohhhh :p How big is it? I'm going into town tomorrow - may have to drift past the disney store and have a look :D

charlie - I agree it sounds like your arm needs medical attention :(

I've been bad :o I just bought THIS but at a fiver I couldn't resist and I do like the Body Butter :p and as I had a forgotten about £2.50 in Amazon vouchers on my account it was even better value :rotfl:

Have a lovely time all those heading off on holiday - here's hoping the weather holds (but not too hot ;))
  • No UUs for me, but I'm still on target for having used up five products by the end of the month as I think the Flake Away is on its way out (and Lord knows I'll be glad to see the back of that!).

I do however have two INs - Tresemme shampoo and conditioner samples I got free with a magazine on Friday. Will use those up this week though and at least I didn't technically spend any money on them so that's slightly less bad.

I also painted my nails on Friday in OPI Russian Navy to match my dress for my cousin's wedding yesterday, but they started chipping on the train home so will take it off and do them again tomorrow - I'm thinking Topshop Carry On Camping. Might do my toenails in China Glaze For Audrey as well. I've also picked out my nail polish for next Friday which will be Rimmel Your Majesty (well it has to be doesn't it?!).
    3 More UU to report

500g Lush Snow Fairy Shower gel- WIBA yes its my HG and smells gorgeous, 2 more big bottles to go in my stash so should survive until October when its back.
Asda protect mouthwash- WIBA yes a bargain at 49p and better than Tescos one
Wilko SPF 15 suncare sun lotion- WIBA yes its a bit runny but rubs in wella and is good value.

Well thats's me for a week, off to Devon and Cornwall, can't wait to be by the sea.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I may have mentioned this before but Lush Godmother soap is the same scent as Snow Fairy and available all year round so if you do run out and your skin is OK with soap (I know it makes mine dry so I need lots of body lotion if I use a soap to wash my body), there's a backup in place!

Have you been tempted by the purple crackle yet? :rotfl:

I know I shouldn't ask this, but who makes the purple crackle?! And does anyone other than Nails Inc do a cheaper version of the silver one? It's my new obsession :o

A small UU today - travel shower gel, I looked at my stash and reckon I still have enough travel ones to last me til July!!

  • Hi everyone - I haven't posted anything in a while as I have been busy (uni finals-arrrgh) but have a UU so thought I would pop by and say 'Hi!'

UU: a Vaselline roll on deodrant WIBA? Probably yes, but got 4 x Sure big cans to use now since I bought them when they were 2 for £3 at Boots (I think)

Also, I am currently using a Boots body lotion I have had for years! It is a 'winter' themed one and does distinctly smell of winter - totally the right time of year to use it...not! haha

Anyway, hope you all have a good Easter Monday! xxx

Never heard of Miss Cole before this thread...the packaging does look very nice. Just out of interest (nothing more) who makes it?

I have a UU - Clinique mascara sample size. As I have another 5 in the stash it is easily replaced. This one lasted me 11 weeks so I know that I will be wasting some of the full size ones when I start to use them up. I only started using mascara every day as I have put a small hold on my tinting (will be starting again shortly as I hate mascara). I always have a smudged look under my eyes. I only apply to the top lashes, I don't over apply the product and I put powder under my eyes and still
About three years ago I spent a lot of money (before :money:) trying recommendations and Clinique was the best I could then find. Anyone else have this problem and what works?

Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday :)

  • I cracked open a BS Moringa BB this morning, thinking it would be a treat. What a disappointment! I remembered it smelling more flowery in the shop but maybe the smell just doesn't translate well on me. I will resign it to use on my legs as I don't want to get whiffs of it from my arms like I am today :rotfl:. Luckily, it's only a 50 ml pot.

I also have only 1 day cream with an SPF in it left in the stash - Elemis Day Cream which I have not used yet. I have left this out to change over from my Clinique DD. I did want to buy the Clinique City Block which I had tried on holiday last year and loved but feel I should give the Elemis a go first. Anyone tried the Elemis one?
Sorry, I've not tried the Elemis one (although a friend of mine at work uses a lot of Elemis products).

However, I would not class Clinique City Block as a day cream. It is more like a sunscreen, and I thought it should be worn over moisturiser but under foundation (or instead of foundation if you have decent skin).
  • afternoon all,
uu - Benefit sugarbomb blusher - this is my HG blusher so will definitely buy again! Hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday, xx
