Evening all
Another UU for me - think that's 5 in as many days!!
Think Fruity Raspberry moisturising Handwash - WIBA? I so would if I could! It was a special offer product in Tesco about 18months ago and I've not seen it since. It smells so lovely, and has lasted that whole time. Will be sad to resign the bottle to the recycling bin!

Evening all
I have done PY(T)NS. I decided to use the sparkly No7 stay perfect nail colour this evening and as I went to put it on, I thought about what a nightmare it is to get off properly. It is very metallic which I love but the metallic bits stay behind. I hadn't actually removed the old nail varnish so I thought I would paint over that and see if it looked ok as I don't have any clear NV or any base coats. Well, considering I had brown on previously, you can't even see it. I'm well chuffed now. This might give a new lease of life to those unloved colours for me. I can use them as a base coat for the sparkly. I can also use the sparkly over last weeks NV as long as it's not chipped. Now that's moneysaving
.
I have 4 NV's in my little bag that I store them in. I thought I had more but I know I got rid of 1 cause I didn't like the colour, 1 because it went blobby, 1 last year because it set. Hmm, maybe I'll come across some more when I get decluttering my sideboard and the kiddies bedrooms. If/when I find any, they'll be put back in their rightful place. I only have 4 though and they are N07 pink sparkly, colour workshop scarlet (1/2 bottle), colour workshop metallic satsuma(ish) (2/3 bottle) and max factor nail finity ruby fruit. I can't wait to get some more colours thoughI just wish I'd got the No7 one at Christmas but maybe I'll get it this year as a treat, perhaps I'll aim to UU my current 4 by Christmas and then I can buy more. Hmmm, I'll need more NV remover
As an aside, got up this evening for breakfast and we have about 4 slices of bread. Not entirely sure what DH thinks he's going to make a pack up with for tomorrow but I'm not going without one. I will not be happy if I get home in the morning and he's not made a pack up with drinks too and also got the kids PE kits ready for them to go back to school on Monday. He's left washing all over the house which is going to stay put until Tuesday because I don't have time/ inclination to do it now and we're out tomorrow and really annoyingly, there's a very large pile of his clothes on the table which have been in the same spot for many many days. He happened to come home the other night as we were all putting away our own washing so I motioned to his, it's still there. And, the piles he's put on the table are all mixed which drives me insane. It's not hard to sort washing into peoples stuff as you fold is it? I do mine at the table if it's TD'd or from the line if it's line dried. Each person gets their stuff put at their place on the dining room table in the hope that they'll shift it in time for tea.

Do you mean the glittery stuff is hard to remove? If so what I do is pour some nail varnish remover into the cap of the bottle (or an old plastic cap/cup/pot) and pop my finger in it to soak for 30seconds or so, this really helps to loosen the glitter and makes it easier to remove. A nail techician at Nails Inc told me you can file off the glitter bits first with nail file then remove varnish but never tried this.

Can you let us know if you find this product as effective please!
Will do. It's early days yet although I did scrape my feet this morning and removed loads of dead skin (sorry to those of a delicate disposition - TMI I know lol) so the cream has a fighting chance now. First impressions are that it's quite thin as creams go but not sticky and doesn't have an offputting fragrance.flutterbyuk25 wrote: »Do you mean the glittery stuff is hard to remove? A technique that works is to soak a cotton pad in lacquer remover place on nail and then wrap the pad and nail in tin foil, leave for a little while and then the whole coat of glittery lacquer is removed.
Had a bit of a pamper this am. Had a bath and UUed my tube of Tommy Girl shower gel (as a bubble bath). WBA although not sure it's readily available. I bought this tube in Tenerife on a special offer. Tried to research it back home and couldn't find many stockists. Cleansed with Decleor foaming cleanser (about a fifth left), scrubbed with Beauty Formula facial scrub (think this is working well as I get a real good tingle when it's applied) and then applied Decleor Herbal Clay Mask (about 2 applications left I think). Shaved (I did start waxing my legs but the wax strips have gone off I think so an OUT there). Painted toe and finger nails in Leighton Denny Berry Nice and Indulgence respectively.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Not been on since Thursday - need to catch up
Nothing toiletry related at all to mention.....
Had a niceish weekend with various exceptions - I dont think there is a single patch of skin on my body that is not red rawnot from sunburn just incredibly bad heat rash which is so itchy I cant bear it so I am covered from head to toe in swollen red lumps and skin - I wish someone could come up with a solution to this....
Not only that but Thursday night did something soooo clever, basically tried to burn my arm off in the oven - had been on for over an hour on the highest setting and I managed to touch the top of my arm on the metal filaments inside needless to say my arm looks terrible and feels horrible now.....Thinking I should maybe get it checked out at the Docs on Tuesday if I can because to touch it still feels like its actually on fire....
Other than that not had a bad weekend, day trip out on Friday, family BBQ last night and easter meal today......MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Are you sure it's heat rash and not an allergy rash?charlie792 wrote: »Not only that but Thursday night did something soooo clever, basically tried to burn my arm off in the oven - had been on for over an hour on the highest setting and I managed to touch the top of my arm on the metal filaments inside needless to say my arm looks terrible and feels horrible now.....Thinking I should maybe get it checked out at the Docs on Tuesday if I can because to touch it still feels like its actually on fire....
 ouch! I'd give NHS direct a call or maybe go to a&e tonight it if was me, it could become infected and will need dressing properly to protect it. I'm also guessing something that hot could do some pretty serious damage inside to nerves and muscles etc even if the contact is only a fraction of a second :j0 -
my moisturiser could become a splutterer in a week/fortnight if i actually use it once a day. when i put my fingers in the tub they hit the bottom and the level isn't over the top of my nails so with some effort i could achieve something.0

Evening ladies, I'm missing pics of nails/stashes
Where are you thevicster and valm? xoxo I know you have enough varnishes too!! And not seen fixx for a while with her nail pics either
Plus the board seems a bit quiet with the holidays I think. I'm guessing it's more busy social lives with all the time off? I'm around, just not at laptop very often, but constantly keeping up with my mobile. Ahh mobile internet :j:j
Tonight's nails (a quick paint-before my nieces came along and started asking me to do them!!) Nails Inc Kings of Neon set from last year, with very basic yellow dot flowers.
I was looking at my UU/IN ratio for this month, and unplanned spending, and I know the month's not over, but I'm very impressed with myself to the extent I can't believe it :rotfl:This thread is doing wonders for me :T
UU a s&g glad pits deodrant - nice but expensive, so probably wouldn't buy again
In - a sure deodrant that apparently smells of wild raspberry and peach or something!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Another UU for me (well actually an out) Boots gradual tan overnight moisturiser, have cut the end off it ages ago but got fed up of it, it was never going to go! lol
Been busy packing the cravan, off for a few days and hope the weather stays fine. I will pack my minis so hopefully have some more UUs to report :jLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I have used up my Boots brazil nut and vanilla body wash
. I think this was in a Christmas present set. I might buy again if there was a special offer on. Now onto some fcuk body wash - again got it at Christmas with a matching body spray - shall try it out tomorrow.
