No Buying Toiletries in April Challenge

I got my first LG blusher in the US (from Sephora who don't stock her range anymore boo hoo) in Sunswept and since have bought the Apricot Berry one which came in a TSV and have two of the Ethereal Rose combo ones. Some people find them too pigmented but I never feel overdone when I wear them - same goes for all the makeup I own from her range.
I'm guessing we bought the same TSV's Valm - I'm using up the apricot berry blush at the moment. Tend to wear it to work, never feels too heavy for me.
What can I say SEPHORA - It's like the mother ship calling me home:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm lucky enough to have family in the US and spend several weeks there each year. I just love Sephora, and have done for a long long time. The store by Rockafella centre in NYC is by far the best I have been in. At least three floors (may be more, I can't remember), sectioned off into face, bath& body, makeup. Just think - a whole floor dedicated to make-up. WOW!
Sawan - B&B is Balance and Brighten by Laura Gella. It's a baked powder foundation - and IMO it's lovely.Scrappie

I love BnB as well. For years I found it really difficult to find the right shade of mineral foundation. I have dark hair and find that my skin tone falls between fair and medium. When I tan my skin does tend to stay tanned for a fairly long time so I'm not really that fair IYKWIM but the fair in BnB is perfect for me. Probably because it isn't one colour in the pan. I am only just coming to the end of my current pan which I started from the original TSV kit so it has lasted me more than 6 months and that's with daily usage.
The Sephora that we visit is in the Florida Mall and not nearly as big as the NYC one - only one floor - but still I have a great time there. Will be restocking my Benefit, Smashbox and Philosophy favourites whilst there. Last time I also got a great primer by Models For Ever which I don't think is stocked over here at all. They stock fabulous Philosophy goodies as well - we only get a limited range over here. Can't wait.
Are you being good and staying away from the Decleor TSV today? I've tried a few of their products. The only one I really like is the Herbal Clay mask which QVC (thankfully) don't stock.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Morning all
No UU/IN's to report but did PYN last night. Used my Barry M crackle for the first time. I painted hands and toes Nails Inc 'Coral' and put crackle on my nails (not toes). Nice summery shade of pink
oh just a new toy to take my mind off things...hes proper hot too
He hasn't got a spare hot friend for me has he?! :rotfl:The Sephora that we visit is in the Florida Mall and not nearly as big as the NYC one - only one floor - but still I have a great time there. Oh I adore SephoraI'm not a massive make-up user but can spend hours in there. I don't understand why it's not here in the UK <insert confused smiley>. I first discovered it aged 14 on schooltrip to Paris - sensory overload to a teenager  . I spent a bit of time working in US few years back so got a lot of goodies from there. One of my best friend's lives in Toronto and we visit every 18mths and first stop is always Sephora
Last time though we went to Montreal and they didn't have a Sephora there

Well since showering I have 2 UU's to reportI'm on a roll this week! :rotfl:
- Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor sachet - WIBA? Defo it's a HG, love Aussie stuff, hate the price! I have few more sachets of hair conditioning stuff to UU but when I do I think I'll invest in some 3 Minute Miracle stuff
- Avon Planet Spa Brown Sugar Body Scrub - so pleased to have used this up :j:j. Like yday's hand cream, this has lurker in my stash for a few years. It was a GWP. Not a huge fan of scrubs (although I am a bit converted now since trying to UU) WIBA? maybe, smells divine, and makes skin smooth.

oh just a new toy to take my mind off things...
hes proper hot too - dont know how I managed it,but Im not complaining!! :money::j
Ive blocked the ex on facebook (not unfriended, just hidden his updates) cos I had a complete relapse on Wednesday, just after I read one of his status' where SHE had answered... so figured that the best thing was to hide his updates, then I wont get upset. He loves the present I gave him today though - so that is going to play its part I hope - and we are getting on pretty well when we chat - so im just going to play things by ear, not wait (like I said) and fate Im sure will sort things out however it is meant to end up...
still no ins
Just sending you a hug sweetie, ((((((Trudij)))))))Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
Hi everyone, back from camping trip, gorgeous weather, tent was boiling during day but still cold at night, not as cold as some nights I've spent in a tent though.
Nipped to Boots this morning because they had venus blades on buy 1 get 1 half price so i got two packs to go with the razor I got 1/2 price last week. Also got a glass nail file after recommendations on here, need something because every one of my nails has broken and are now all ragged and sharp. For the first time I can remember my little local boots had 3 clearance shelves, i had a look and am afraid i have some ins - Sanctuary Kyphi body butter and bubble bath - full size ones £4.xx each, 3 mitchum waterlilly sticks for £1.59 each. If there was ever anyone on earth who did not need another body butter it would be me.
Two uu this morning, one of the £1 hair colours from wilkos, natural brown, colour is not too bad but i think the odd grey I have will be showing through quickly. It said to leave on for 30 minutes but after 10 it was stinging and I could only stand it for 20 minutes, was worried it was doing something awful. It says on the box it is a really gentle formula but I doubt it because i use allsorts and nothing else stings like that.
Other one was a travel size charles worthington volume shampoo, wiba - yes but only from home bargains where it is £1.99 a bottle. This 75ml bottle lasted me 3 weeks washing my hair just about everyday, so I added up all my other shampoos and i have enough for 3 and a half years:eek:.The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Afternoon all! A UU JF Blonde shampoo WIBA - Yes this is my HG shampoo and it perks my colour right up!
An unintentional In to report a bottle of Tresemme body boost gel spray but only cos it was reduced to a quid in Asda!0 -

I didn't know about Models For Ever, but will look out for it next time I'm over there. Have you ever used Tarte mascara? I got one in a Sephora gift set (15 different mascaras!) and I think it's fab. It's more of a lash stain - tends to stay on for 2/3 days and doesn't look too clumpy. When I finally use up all the others I will def be on the lookout for more of that. Not that I am in any way suggesting that you go out of your way to search for products you did not know anything about and do not need.
I'm with you flutterby - we really should have Sephora in the UK. But then I'm not sure how well my SPC would be doing if acess to Sephora was sooo easy!!
Had a UU this morning - Elemis PCMC - WBA, love it. I'm sure I have more in my stash so will be a good girl and check there first. I now see this as 'free shopping'. Most of it I totally forgot I had, and there is more than enough to fill a shelf or two! I have a browse, make my selection and off I pop to give it a whirl. No cash needed. FREE SHOPPING! Makes me feel so much better about this whole thing!
I have 'shopped' this morning for Phillosophy Hope in a Jar. I had this a few years back in summer and liked it. Looks like they have changed the formulae and added SPF (which is good). the texture is the same (still nice and light - again good). So let's just hope that my sensitive skin can get along with it again. If not I'm sure I will know about it in a day or two and I will put it on swapsies on FB. No fingers will have touched the cream- I'm one of those 'freaks' who uses a little spattula:rotfl:

Hi scrappie. Haven't heard of Tarte mascara but now have a few favourites that I'll keep repurchasing.
A branch of Sephora would be wonderful in the UK and Ulta - love shopping there when in Orlando as well - although knowing my luck they would be open in London only.
Elemis PCMC is my HG moisturiser. Seriously cannot live without it although I only use it as a day cream as I think the texture of it suits my skin better for day time use and I need something a little thicker for night cream.
Have tried HIAJ before but didn't like it as I didn't like its fragrance.
A UU and an IN for me today.
UU: small tub of TBS Sweet Lemon body scrub WNBA. This scrub was too dry in texture therefore I found I was wasting some as it would fall off before I'd had a chance to scrub it. Still think that the S&G ones are my HG although I now have a tube of GoodWorks scrub to try.
IN: Lacura foot cream. I popped into Aldi looking for the Batiste shampoo (I'm too early - it's due in next week) and bought a tube of this only because it is called Hydro - Urea and the last product that I used containing urea was Flexitol which was fabulous but more expensive than this one so thought I'd give it a go.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
