I'd get through that in a month :o (don't worry ladies - mine are on prescription under Dr's orders :D)

Insurance have agreed to replace our PC so hopefully we'll have that up and running within the week - it's all very clever - they now can text you your voucher for your replacement and you just take it to the store - amazing!

[RANT] Just had the people round to pick up this sofa and they've turned it down  because there is a hole in one of the cushions  FGS people - you're getting a FREE sofa - you can sew a bloody hole up ! Back to the people who wouldn't collect the clothes - now they'll come and get a sofa AND the clothes - but we're still stuck with it for another week  I understand now why our neighbours just shoved their old one in the garden - no charity wanted it because it wasn't perfect  If I was so desperate for furniture that I needed a free sofa I wouldn't care what state it was in  [/RANT]

back on topic :p going to get the dye for my mum today - will look at the colours and judge what will be best but reckon I'll probably go for the darkest blonde - that way if it isn't dark enough it won't be a disaster :o

Off now to see my lovely local pharmacist to see if he can give me something for this very annoying ear infection that has sprung up from nowhere :( *sigh* I'm not having a good week :p

Thats shocking about the sofa  Was it a charity or a freecycle jobbie?
I would have been so grateful for a free sofa when I moved into our place, as you said holes can be sown up, throws can be put over etc....

    Some people eh!

Would I be VERY naughty to use more free hair dye vouchers?....Ive already used 3:o and I have another 2 sitting here (came by post this morning). I keep telling myself its not sooo bad as I would be buying dye anyway and this is saving me money...but then I think is it slightly wrong to be ripping of superdrugs...hummm

Oh and can anyone recommend me where to get some decent quality clear nail varnish? I got some from bodycare the other day and it lasted on my nails for 2 days before I could litterally peel the stuff off.....not impressed

I totally missed this info on the March thread - no idea how  Anyway glad it went well for you and fingers crossed.

Good luck Mingle and speedy recovery.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Kaz.

Re pamper night. I am loving this idea but I work every second Friday night and of course the 15th is my shift on. So I am suggesting 8th or 23rd :D

I think my 400ml of Gum hairspray is about to kick it in the next day or two. I think I reported this as a splutterer in Feb. I am then thinking of trying to UU a half full frizz ease shape and shine but can't help thinking there was a reason I abandoned it in the first place. The endless splutterers continues...

I've been thinking about the pamper nights and how everyone has different schedules so to get one night where we all can do it might be hard.

What about making EVERY friday a pamper night? Then if we're at home, nothing to do, nowhere to go - we know you can log on to the thread and someone will be around ..... upto the eyeballs in facemasks and nail polish :rotfl:

Just an idea - what do you think? :D

I do like the idea of us all having a pre-big day pamper session with Kaz on the 26th tho' :T

Both good ideas, but Sarah - you're getting my vote! :T

Ive updated the OP guys, Every friday night this month and one on behalf of Kaz on the 26th too....We'll have to get some UU's from this...

Unfortunatly Im going to be missing this - tonight we're of to St Davids Hall to see Ed Byrne, can't wait! Love him so much :p

Also I feel a bit left out as I don't have a bath :( No long soaks for me, its not as fun standing up in a tiny shower for ages - also a fair bit of my stash are actual bath products, bath salts etc so they are never going to get used unless anyone has any genius ideas?

I just rejoined freecycle after leaving it 7 years ago and I been instantly reminded why. About 80% of the posts on my group appear to be Wanted posts too.

For a laugh have a look at freakcycle to see some of the best/bizarre posts.

I hope the doc helps sarah*a.

I watched that superscrimpers programme and wasn't too impressed with it so far. I am not an old style MSE but lurk around some of the pages for tips and I have gotten more from those pages in a half an hour than I did for the duration of the programme. I will give it another chance next week and see what else they cover.

Also every Friday night is pamper night is a great idea with an additional pre pamper party for Kaz :j

Welcome to even more newbies

LOL - I remember seeing Ed Byrne years ago in Edinburgh when he was just starting out - he did a load of stuff about the IRA......presumably without realising he was in a room with an extremely high proportion of Londoners, it being the Fringe Festival at the time! Talk about dying on it....! :rotfl: He seemed to learn his lesson on that one pretty quick though - he's hilarious these days!

    Some people eh!

I know sofa's are very much in demand on my local freegle group - even if they need throws on as long as the springs are safe and its comfy. But there's a couple of people that are so fussy - asking specifically for brown or black leather sofas in good condition!!!

Would I be VERY naughty to use more free hair dye vouchers?....Ive already used 3:o and I have another 2 sitting here (came by post this morning). I'm using BarryM base/top coat at the moment - that seems to be pretty good. or Sally Hansen works well.
