Well, I phoned DH to see how DD got on at her rehearsals earlier (they didn't finish until 10pm tonight) and he said she'd just got in at 10.30. Apparently her badge has been sewn on the wrong side of her uniform too. FGS! I did it on Monday and she's been wearing it all week, perhaps the night before the show is not the time to tell a parent espescially when I had asked her where it was to be sewn as we had had no info about that. GAH! So instead of going to bed in the morning, I shall be dying my hair and unpicking her badge/ resewing it whilst my hair sets, then rinsing it and THEN bed! But I might stay up and photograph my stash first. I'm undecided as yet :D

I'm up for a pamper night on the 15th if I'm not working but I actually can't remember what I'm working at the moment!

    Nighty night all.

Ooh, ooh, I forgot, my big bottle of Vera wang princess will be UU this month. I have another but I think I'll move onto the 1/2 bottle of Avon stuff I've got and UU that first. I got into work this evening and my Avon order had arrived. I will report on it tomorrow because I can't be bothered to walk down to my bag to get it atm.

Thanks everyone for the kind words... this exam is worth1% of my overall degree ( well that's what i'm repeating to myself anyway! :D)

    Two UU already!
The Sanctuary Zibu Body Salt Scrub- WIBA- it was perfectly nice to use and left my skin soft, but it's no better than asda's £1 exfoliation gloves and they don't leave a mess/residue in the shower. In short, I have come to realise that body scrubs are a bust when all you do is wash them down the drain.

The Sanctuary Zibu Body butter- WIBA?- Yes, probably. The smell lingered all day and left my skin super soft and smooth. I do prefer the original sanctuary though. This had a rich, nutty, just on the verge of masculine smell which was pleasant, but not as refreshing as the original.

So that's £10 in the pot already! I hope the rest of the month goes like this- March was quite slow.

Bizarrely, despite opening the shower gel, scrub and butter at the time i still have the shower gel left. Even more weird... I use the shower gel every day! I now have the difficult decision of what body lotion to use next. I think I'll go for Avon dry skin SOS because it smells neutral and I can use it after my lush soap. *I know I'm weird!* :)

    Good Luck Minerva!

Hope you all have lovely fridays!

I've been thinking about the pamper nights and how everyone has different schedules so to get one night where we all can do it might be hard.

What about making EVERY friday a pamper night? Then if we're at home, nothing to do, nowhere to go - we know you can log on to the thread and someone will be around ..... upto the eyeballs in facemasks and nail polish :rotfl:

Just an idea - what do you think? :D

I do like the idea of us all having a pre-big day pamper session with Kaz on the 26th tho' :T

Think this is a fab idea!:T:T

of all the above the shower gel bothers me because it lasts so long but I haven't added to that list for a while now, also face masks and scrubs bother me because they take so long to use up with only using a couple of times a week.

Have put my £20 aside as mentioned in March, this is the max I can spend this month but hopefully won't spend it but I am already pining for the S&F fab pore facial peel, will I give in I wonder??

I'm in again - thanks for starting this month Charlie

I've done pretty well this year so far, a S&G gift set from ASOS and 4 of the clinique minis are all I've bought and I've had a few bits of needed make up with Boots points.

I had a little flurry of using things up earlier this year when I rejoined the challenges and now I don't seem to be able to finish anything it all lasts forever - must try harder!

I've missed out on a bath the last 2 weekends, which might explain the above, so bath tonight for me I think and a full itemisation of current stash!

Starting the month with not a bang, but a UU splutter!

The Cowshed 100ml lotion - Grumpy Cow - that was free with Marie Claire.
I do like reading Marie Claire and it's just as well. Trudij warned us about this, and she was right. It's thick, yes. It rubs in okayish. It has a stale smell of sour grapefruit pith. There appears to be a fair bit clinging to the inside of the bottle, which is really thick plastic that will need a hefty clip with my heavy duty kitchen shears to open, and it isn't worth it. :(

On the happy side, the Superdrug conditioners for brunettes I got for free on Monday are great. The ordinary conditioner is near identical to the intensive, so I intend mixing the ordinary (75p on clearance!) with the intensive and spinning it out, having a lovely intensive treatment that will last. :j

I need it, hair condition is not good following the foam, and it is much better than this, usually.
