The 15th for a pamper party sounds good to me! We could have an extra one for when Kaz needs it too?
Hi to all the newbies!
I've just put tonnes of leave in conditioner in my hair tonight in the hope it might calm down all the random frizz, think I might have to buy my HG hair mousse tomorrow. It's really frizzy! Think 80's rocker!!!!
Fingers crossed for tomorrow Minerva!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Good luck for your exam Mingle! Hope your ear infection clears up soon...they are evil!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0

Has anyone here had a brazillian blow dry/keratin treatment and can recommend a suitable shampoo & conditioner that I can buy in a shop? I read a few threads on here but got in a bit of a mucking fuddle trying to follow them :rotfl: I'm going to be doing my second treatment over the weekend, but the shampoo & conditioner that matches the treatment is 'orrible! It stinks of bananas and leaves my head quite dry, plus it's getting low and I don't really want to spend £25 on something I don't really like using. But i'm sooooooo confused over what I can/can't use and what is/isn't ok in the ingredients so would appreciate a bit of guidance if anyone can help?
Thought i'd ask here rather than make a thread because i'm sure between us we've tried every treatment and every shampoo/conditioner available :rotfl::j0 -

Deepest sympathy... That is so NOT a good look. My son loves 80s rock music and is a semi-pro guitarist, but TG he's never done the poodle perm thing.
x fingers Minerva and Mingle... Hugs, welcomes and thank you Charlie.
Oh yeah, I've just remembered why I clicked on here.. we moved a storage unit earlier and there was a 50 ml Lacoste Touch of Pink EDT behind it, new and unused.
Neither of us have a scooby doo where it came from. Son thinks it may have been an ex GF's. It smells OK too.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Aww, thanks! Glad to hear yor son doesn't do the poodle perm thing....I don't think it's a good look for anyone! :rotfl: I'm due for a cut and colour next week, so hopefully that will sort it out properly!
TOuch of Pink is lovely, as is Dream of Pink (note to self: do not need any more perfume)

Fingers crossed for you Minerva & Good Luck for tomorrow Mingle :A
Good to see so many new members :T
One UU after my bath and one to pre-declare for tomorrow.
Boots Expert Sensitive Conditoner: WIBA? Well, yes I would but I'm kinda thinking they are discontinuing it as it's been on the clearance shelf all yearIf there's any left I may pick up a couple - 50p a bottle's not bad and it's good as a treatment too :T
£land Pomegranate Body Lotion: WIBA? NO! This was a pass-along from DD. It came from my SIL so I will have to gently tell her how shoite it wasMade my skin yukky - left a horrible residue - will finish it off on my legs tomorrow.
While sorting out the christmas room I found a couple of BS samples from earlier last month (or feb?) so I will be using them up too - I think I declared them at the time but they are not on my stash list!? So tomorrow I will smell ....... strange :rotfl: Pomegranate on my legs, BS Dream Cream on one side and BS Carrot Cream on the other :rotfl: How's that for 'layering' :rotfl:
I opened the Miss Cole Bed and Butter tonight - it's lovely and thick and goes on really nicely but it has a whiff of antiseptic cream about it  I may have to drop a tiny bit of perfume oil in to make it less hospitally
Forgot to mention I got another voucher for the L'oreal hair dye in the post this morning (well - yesterday now!) and I'm going use it to get a dye for my mum. She's a fairly light brown so do you think I should go for the lightest brown or the darkest blonde? She's 90% grey naturally and never goes very dark. What do you ladies think?
Finished my Mother's Day cards tonight - just in time to post tomorrow. I'm hoping my furbabies give me the Gok set that's been sat in OH's wardrobe since January - I'm dying to get my hands on it finally. If they don't I may just have to break open one of the two I have in the xmas room:rotfl: :rotfl:

It went pretty well I think - they said they'd let me know tomorrow so fingers crossed! It'd be a great job as it's very similar to my old one but also allows me to learn new skills, it's really good money, the people seemed really nice and it would be really easy to get to from OH's flat. So hopefully it'll be third time lucky for interviews in March!
And I'm definitely up for pampering on the 15thI have some empty Lush black pots so am planning to take them into the shop and treat myself to a face mask which I might break out for that...
I totally missed this info on the March thread - no idea how  Anyway glad it went well for you and fingers crossed.
Good luck Mingle and speedy recovery.
Glad to hear you are feeling better Kaz.
Re pamper night. I am loving this idea but I work every second Friday night and of course the 15th is my shift on. So I am suggesting 8th or 23rd
I think my 400ml of Gum hairspray is about to kick it in the next day or two. I think I reported this as a splutterer in Feb. I am then thinking of trying to UU a half full frizz ease shape and shine but can't help thinking there was a reason I abandoned it in the first place. The endless splutterers continues...No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
I've been thinking about the pamper nights and how everyone has different schedules so to get one night where we all can do it might be hard.
What about making EVERY friday a pamper night? Then if we're at home, nothing to do, nowhere to go - we know you can log on to the thread and someone will be around ..... upto the eyeballs in facemasks and nail polish :rotfl:
Just an idea - what do you think?
I do like the idea of us all having a pre-big day pamper session with Kaz on the 26th tho' :T0
