I would have been so grateful for a free sofa when I moved into our place, as you said holes can be sown up, throws can be put over etc....
It was going to a charity who give furniture to those who have recently become 'un-homeless' - now going (hopefully) to a charity who gives furniture to women who are resettling after leaving a Refuge.
and if they don't want it I'll freecycle it - and if they don't want it ..... It's in cracking condition except for a few tiny holes and one chewed legcharlie792 wrote: »...but then I think is it slightly wrong to be ripping of superdrugs...hummm
aahhh - but SD will get the money back from L'oreal - so I'd use them - they're expensive enough as it is
I'm in for pamper night tonight - might not get online as I'm sharing the lappy with OH at the moment but I'll be there in spirit0 -

Talk about dying on it....! :rotfl: He seemed to learn his lesson on that one pretty quick though - he's hilarious these days!
Ooo :rotfl: I first proper heard his stuff in 2006 bought his DVD from his Leeds show soon after it came out...stupidly I just looked it up online and its selling for £15...I swear I only paid about £3 at the time
I think he's brilliant, OH never really heard him until one day he came in whilst I was watching the DVD and he was almost on the floor laughing. Was so pleased when I heard he was playing Cardiff...
Maybe as its just because Im getting older but I see more comedians these days that I do bandsthere again more comedians come to Wales than bands do
, normally have to travel to Brum to see anyone decent or Reading festival (ah loved it) :T Good times eh!
On a really random side note any of you here heard of Goldie Lookin Chain (GLC)?
I think I may have got to the bottom of my bad skin/spots, I honestly think its simply too much make-up and I think Ive been making it worse for myself. I have spots etc so I use even more makeup to hide them and I think Ive just been going round in a circle. That is litterally the only thing I can think of thats changed recently - Ive hardly left the house this week so not worn any and my skin is now near perfect and not at all oily, fingers crossed it stays that way!
I honestly think I can probably do this month without buying ANY toiletries, there is nothing I need personally, OH is all sorted (he doesnt know it yet but there are 6 cans of lynx waiting for him) we're stocked up to our eyeballs on toothpaste, Ive stocked up on deodrant etc so actually I don't need anything which means I shall be avoiding the shops I usually go where I buy more stuff... Just pray the next BS groupon doesnt come up this month as I will be very tempted......MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Oh dear Lord! It's Day One of April and we're up to 6 pages already?????
That is both  and .
I'm in my second quarter now and I predict that during this quarter I will need to buy the things I avoided buying in the first quarter:
Dermalogica Clean Start Bed time for Breakouts
Nude Cleansing Facial Oil or similar oily or balm cleanser
Deep conditioning treatment (pref elasticizer)
Mir Argan Oil
plus the things I predicted will need to be replaced in this second quarter:
Mascara
Lip Balm
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Shiseido Daily Bronze
Hair dye
This second quarter also includes Mothers Day, Easter and my birthday - so I will no doubt have some unnecessary "Ins" giftwise, but I am cool with that.
My main aims are not to build up clutter, not to save things so long that they end up ruined (Pink Rose Candle Philosophy!) and to spend the absolute minimum I can bear to on make up and toiletries because I want to use that money for other things this year.
I find it helps me to make decisions about special offers if I am crystal clear about why I'm doing this, so even if something is utterly crazily bargainous I probably wouldn't buy it if I already had a year or more's stash of similar products.
My stash drawer is starting to look a bit bare though. We've just seen wood for the first time in a while!
Take care all,

This news makes me VERY happy! Mahoosive HUG!
I've been squirting myself with the acquired Lacoste Touch of Pink. I usually wear CK One and it's lovely to have something feminine that I actually like.
If it really belongs to my son's ex g.f. - ah...
I never ever buy perfume, it always gets given to me, so I had no idea how much this cost - it isn't cheap, oops!
My plan to use up the Tesco Frequent Use shampoo has come a bit unstuck - it isn't particularly conditioning after all, it would seem, so it's back to Elvive. C. 250 ml left of a 400 ml bottle.
Advice needed: I am wondering what to spend my £15 compensation vouchers on. I don't use styling products on my bob, so they are out. Wella and Herbal Essences are the two non-colourant options, any of you lovely gang use any of these products that you could recommend? (My hair: v. dark, coloured, dried out but usually very slightly oily, baby-fine, spaghetti straight usually)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Doh I'm so jealous, I'm stuck at work. Wonder if anyone would mind me having a bucket of hot water and some oils under the desk :rotfl:
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0
