    I'm in for April please!
I have been following the thread (mostly-it moves very quickly!!) through march, but need to get motivated using things up again. Ive been very good honest ;) but have some pending ins..............a girl needs bubbles in her bath after all.......!!
Overall since joining the challenge, I do have more room in my cupboard, and my money box has less room in it:rotfl:and passing toiletry isles in the shops is becoming that bit easier each time.
I am up for a pamper tonight, great idea, am sat typing with a hair dye on, DH applied cos he's better at it than me!!

Would I be VERY naughty to use more free hair dye vouchers?....Ive already used 3:o and I have another 2 sitting here (came by post this morning). I keep telling myself its not sooo bad as I would be buying dye anyway and this is saving me money...but then I think is it slightly wrong to be ripping of superdrugs...hummm

No, I think you should get as many as you possibly can. I would if I used it ;)

I am tempted to get another colour in the old Nice n Easy formula but I won't be able to use it for quite some time.

Do you have to spend the voucher in one go? Does it have a use-by date? I'd be tempted (if possible) to spend some on something to condition your hair and fix the dryness caused by the dye and save the rest for when you need the dye - or buy the dye anyway if you've only got so long to spend/have to spend in one go :D

    Cheeky :p :rotfl:

My Avon Lady has just been - wished I'd declared in March :rotfl: but I'm stuck on the naughty step for a bit longer :o New IN's are:
Planet Spa 50ml Tube Body Butter - this was GWP when I bought the Moisturising Gloves :D
Avon Kids Detangling Spray x 2 (BOGOF) - I was desperate for these but since finding a full one in DD's room I now have a stash :rotfl:

Not going to get the BS Free Body Butter tomorrow as we are going to a different Comet :( No point going later as I'm sure they'll be OOS by 10am :rotfl:

Waiting for the water to heat up so I can have a bath

I'm back again. Love this thread for all the chat and the shameless posting of discounts/grabbits!

March probably wasn't brilliant I suppose because I did buy some unnecessary things but it was all :money:.

First off where the three copies of Glamour mag which had the two moisturisers and eye cream as freebies. The two moisturisers will be used as night creams. I proibably have another week's worth of Elizabeth Arden cream to go at and then the only night cream in my stash is a tub of No.7. So not sure these were necessary just yet but at £2.00 each I don't think I'll get them any cheaper elsewhere. I'm working my way through a tube of Boots Vitamin E eye cream at the mo and then will be using the Clinique one so would have had to replace the eye cream this month anyway.

Then I succumbed to the TBS 50% off online promotion. OK I do have loads of shower gels but somebody on here convinced me that the Sweet Lemon range needed to be tried. Have tried it now and it it lovely though whether I'll buy again I don't know. Also bought an unfragranced shower gel which I think is :money: at it's best cos it will match any body butter/lotion I have open.

Next up was the Groupon/ASOS voucher. That order has arrived today and included Dainty Doll Eyeshadow base (to be used instead of Benefit Lemon Aid which they haven't restocked. This one was lower in price) and a 200ml tube of Yes to Carrots hand cream to replace the L'occitane foot cream (we all know how that one went). So definitely necessary spends. As well as these two products I ordered some S&G shampoo and Batiste shampoo for Emma. All in all it cost me £4.50 on top of the voucher price of £9.00 and the handcream alone was nearly £10.00.

There also was an Avon order comprising of mascara (needed a new brown one), lipglosses (bargain price of 3 for £5.00) Spotlight shower gel which I thought was body lotion and I ordered to replace my Tommy Girl one. Nail lacquer in Gunmetal colour (don't necessarily need this but it was on special offer).

So I reckon TBS order was unnecessary but was half price - £27.50 and I'd add to this the majority of the Avon order totalling £8.99 making a total of £36.49 which is not that bad really is it??

PS I will be buying the Daily Mail tomorrow. I know I don't really need another body butter but who can really pass up the chance of getting a tub for 80p?

Have a good weekend everyone. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • I was good today - I went to Boots to get a Soap and Glory gift set for my friend's birthday on Tuesday, and the gift section is slap bang in the middle of the bit with all the shower gels (which as we know are my weakness!). However I was good and only bought the gift and then promptly left with only ideas for what to buy when my stash is much much smaller than any actual items!
