    Day 2 and I have a UU - yey!!!

Aveda smoothing body polish - WIBA, at £22 not likely! (Didn't actually but this one , it was a gift). It was at the 'spluttering' stage earlier in the week, I didn't comment on it as I was soooo excited that I may get a UU this wk end!

However, it was lovely to use. Very fine 'bits' but very scrubbie - just the way I like it.

I cannot believe how excited this thread has made me - full of like-minded-lovelies who just want to smell/ look nice! Never have I taken so much pleasure in using body lotion - just want to get to the end of the pot so I can have another UU. So sad - yet sooo happy!!

I'm still in the process of hunting out all of my 'stash' in order to make the dreaded list and then post on here. It may have to wait till Monday to be posted as we are having an early mother's day tonight. Having mum over for dinner as I'm working a 12hr day shift tomorow. So have decided to make apple pie (her fave) and now need to go in search of apples - my collection of face masks may just have to wait to be counted!!

Am enjoying reading these impressive stash lists, lots of people have a clear loyalty to certain brands, I think I like to try a bit everything myself though. NPI - nearly bought the daily mail but wasn't sure if BS would still have stock, was it only the satsuma BB on offer with the voucher? If I got there and they had run out I would have bought the paper for nothing and whilst it is only 80p I would have been annoyed with myself, that coupled with the fact I have way too many body butters and lotions stopped me.

Have an in today but only cost me 13p because I had a £5 voucher. Olay regenerist cloths, the ones in a box, you lather them up and one side is rough and the other smooth. i won't be opening them just yet but the voucher ran out soon. I also have a £5 voucher for Pantene/wella/aussie and just can't seem to spend it, I have lots of shampoo and conditioner, don't use much in the way of hairspray etc and I have one can of mousse which will last ages. May have to just get more mousse to put away for when i do need it.

Woops - forgot i had a uu this morning - No7 cleansing body polish gwp size. wiba? - maybe it smelt really lovely, different to other things, quite creamy too. I found that if i just dampened my skin with wet hands before getting in the bath/shower and then used it the scrubby bits were enough but on very wet skin they were a bit lost.

Well, I'm here in the house on my own. The men folk went out to aikido at 10am and haven't been seen since. DD was dropped at gang show this afternoon and I'm here with lots to sort out. I've managed to clear half of the living room floor but I think I might actually just stick on one of my facemasks before I start doing the washing sorting and whatnot. Then, when I take the washing upstairs, I can take the mask straight off while I'm up there. I might then actually get around to painting my toenails as I think I can bend enough to do them today. Still too early to be able to bend to dye my hair but maybe later in the week.
I could do the ironing whilst my toenails are drying so I don't run as much risk of scuffing them then do I.
Yup, that's what I'm going to do. Break up the oredom with a pamper session :D I'll have a lovely result, nice clean pampered house and clean pampered me.
What's everyone doing for tomorrow? I think I'm cooking for 9 of us. MiL didn't want me to stand and cook while they all go and play golf but I would rather swim in my own vomit than play golf (DD too but she has a party) so I said I'd stay home and potter while they go and play golf. She suggested that we have a buffet or that we all fill our slow cookers but I find it easier to just shove a roast dinner in the oven. I can turn it on and forget about it until it's time to eat. And, my niece and nephew are REALLY fussy eaters and I can't be doing with it. They will eat the meat and potatoes from a roast so I know we're safe there. It'll be nice and peaceful actually, I may have a pampering bath while they're all out. I said they should go whilst DD's at her party so she's not missing out on time with her cousins and grandma.
I reckon it's going to be a lovely day (and I don't have to go and watch them hitting balls from a bucket at the driving range!).

Back from Superdrug with my goodies. Interesting that Poundland has Herbal Essences, ty EH, - however, they probably wouldn't have taken coupons. :(

I tried to get as close as I could to the £15 - then it turned out the colour I wanted was on offer. I bought some panty pads and the assistant just took off the £15 anyway. :D

I took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer and got a Beautiful Ends Intensive Mask - I rather thought that the colour protection mask wouldn't be a good idea!

I also got a Beautiful Ends Protection Cream which is a leave in product. Both products are for dry/damaged hair.

The colour I got was Perfect 10 Light Brown. I will probably use this in a few months time. I looked at the medium brown and thought that it probably wouldn't have much effect in reducing the darkness.

Another UU - the Beauty Formulas Cream for extra dry skin - this was being used as foot cream. I got a week of extra usage when I cut the tube open and I was lavish with it.

WIBA? This is a bargain basement product that is really good - very thick, but rubbed in well. I would buy it again just for use as foot cream, but in the meantime, I'm on to a very elderly Inecto coconut oil hand and nail cream for my next feet treat.

That makes a total of four OOD products used up on my feet so far since Dec - another two are lined up.

A Neutrogena moisturiser with self -tanner has been cut open and I am hoping I remember to hide it from my cleaner who likes to bin things... :( there looks to be around 3/4 days' worth left.

Almost failed on day 2 but managed to resist! :A

Had a rather large night out last night and woke up both looking and feeling rough - had a moment of wanting to drop into Boots on the way home to find a nice new face scrubby product to make me look human again... Convinced myself I really just need huge amounts of water and a bit of a pamper with the stuff I already have! :D

Hello to everyone for April, fingers crossed for those of you with exams/job interviews etc, and big thumbs up for the decision to make every Friday a pamper evening!

I have a UU already - a loreal million lashes mascara. WIBA - definitely. Pretty sure I have another one or two in my stash, along with the silly number of other mascaras I need to use up. I use a lot of mascara daily, and found this one brilliant for both thickness and length on my lashes. I think I need to make the effort to pick a different mascara from the stash to try next though, else I'll stick to this as my current favourite and never use the others up!

Right, off for a hangover curing pamper, hopefully get a few more things on the way to being out of my bathroom!!

    Xxx

Flirtini you did well! The power to resist under those circumstances is amazing:T

Have to say, after one of 'those' nights I always take some milk thistle before bed along with a very large (usually a pint) of water. Don't know if it's the MT or the H2O but I usually wake up feeling non to bad (unless tequila has been involved, then, just forget it, talk to me after 5pm!). This is not medical advice, it's just what I do to make me feel better after overindulging!!

I tried that million lashes - it's brill! WBA, but after getting a set of 15 (yes really) mascaras for xmas, never going to need to by it again for ages. Have set my alarm 1minute earlier each day since Jan 1st, to be sure I have no excuse to put some on each day. Saying that have just been out shopping an I don't have any on - blaming the fact that I had no alarm call this morning!!! And also hiding behind the frames of my glassses!!

Also bev97 - are you a QVC addict like me?? Looking at your stash - half of it is under my bed I think!!!

    Still counting my stash.............................

Night off work tomorrow and DD is taking me here tomorrow evening.

We are having the Pre-Performance Supper too; already decided I'm having Pork Stroganoff and Fruit Salad for dessert! :T

Lazy day, no doubt some new toiletries will be involved and a quiet few minutes thought, like others of you I'm sure, for mums who are missed so much.
