So I was having a nose on ebay an it appears that we're not the only ones with hoarding toiletries ( and trying to get rid of them!)
Check the packaging on THESE babies!

When I was growing up I had a family member who was quite senior in the organisation of The Body Shop so spent a fair amount of time around the products. Any bets on how old the products are? My guess for the white musk is about 10 years...
tut tut mingle
now why are you looking at eBay toiletries???????? :rotfl:
You're right though - the word ancient comes to mind!:cool:0 -
Nice lists ladies.
My mum has arrived tonight and is staying over. Just made us dinner and now watching some TV. Off into town for a spot of shopping tomorrow.
Have a nice time Bronnie. I hope they're not having a mad cull - I need my Consumer Pulse vouchers to pay for my holiday - that I've already booked
I've been having a lovely time browsing the Comet website - it's looking like we can replace our PC, get a new wireless printer, plenty of ink, a new hair trimmerand still have money left over from the voucher we've been given from the insurance people :T Not bad considering the broken one is 6 years old
I have an IN to confess - feeling so:mad: today with the whole sofa debarcle and the PC breaking and the ear infection that I needed cheering up. I bought an Aldi Lacura Multi-Intensive Serum which I will need in a few days as my P&P is on it's way out (especially after I squeezed some into a BS sample pot for my travel kit
).
We're heading into town early tomorrow to go PC shopping and BS is just opposite so I maybe able to get the BB from the offer - but I'm not dragging myself into town early sunday just for a Body Scrub
I went for the lightest brown dye for my mum - the colour on the box is lighter than she usually goes for so hopefully it will turn out ok
Sarah*a let us know how you get on with this as I have been eyeing it up as a cheaper alternative to the P & P serum.mcculloch29 wrote: »The vouchers run out on June 27th and the £15 is broken in to £1, £2, £3, £4, and £5 vouchers.
I'm right with you on those thoughts of waiting to use the colour Sarah. I have my eye on one of the Herbal Essences conditioners you so kindly linked to. :T
That action epitomises what I love about this thread - we are all so keen to help each other! If you had said to me that some of my really happy times online would be on a beauty thread ... well, I wouldn't have believed you... But they are. I would have put the group hug icon there, but it's just too dodgy...
Lovely thoughts mcculloch29 - and I agree whole heartedly with it
I have my first UU's of April :j Gum 400mls Hairspray which I think may be elevated to a HG product in light of the other few hairspray products I have tested in the last few days. So yes WBA and as soon as possible. Think I got this one out of T K Maxx so will keep an eye out for a good price.
Also I UU a Champneys skin care wipes. Bought these out of B & M Bargains for £1.50 and still have one pack left. I quite liked them but wouldn't pay full price out of sainsburys (not sure if you can still buy them). WIBA? Maybe depending on price but I have been converted to tesco cheapie ones.
I am also binning my John Fredia shape & shine hairspray which has done nothing for my hair. I had to rewash after styling it as it just looked greasy and felt really hard. You can keep me company :rotfl: I don't think i've been off it since I joined :rotfl:
I've got more ins today
4 x bubble bath, but I needed them:rotfl: Really, honestly, I did, promiiiise!
And my boots order of 4 nail polishes arrived.
And I got some crackle.
Good day all round:rotfl:
U/U - last of my QOD keratin treatment and clarifying shampoo. WIBA? Yes... but not for a few weeks because it lasts well.:j0 -
Hello everyone and can you believe its April?
ive been away for about ten days and am now catching up.....
i have a UU to report - a sure roll on. WIBA? yes worked well, but of course not until all my other ones have been used! :rotfl:
have to say im finally seeing a little progress on my dressing table, its looking far less cluttered, so there is hope. However lets not talk about the stash in the bottom of the wardrobe or the bathroom cupboard .....:DSealed Pot Member 1269VSP... TO UPDATE!
No more toiletries challenge..... Making progress! :TGROCERY CHALLENGE £100 January 2012 :jI MUST RESIST CHOCOLATE! WELL SOME OF IT ANYWAY!:EasterBun:EasterBun:EasterBun0 -
I have 4 Ins to declare
Herbal Essences dazzling shine conditioner X 2: Part of Tesco DTD - I have done the DTD offer the first time so fingers crossed it works
Barry M Nails Paints X 2 - I really wanted the crackle one which was £3.99 but Boots had 2 for £5 so had to buy another colour.
Make some space on the Naughty step for me

Welcome hellokittygal - thats a fab stash you've got thereYup, that's what I'm going to do. Break up the oredom with a pamper session
I'll have a lovely result, nice clean pampered house and clean pampered me.
I love that idea - makes dreaded housework have a positive outcome :Tmcculloch29 wrote: »I took advantage of the 2 for 1 offer and got a Beautiful Ends Intensive Mask - I rather thought that the colour protection mask wouldn't be a good idea!
:rotfl:yes it would kind of have defeated the purpose :rotfl:Sarah*a let us know how you get on with this as I have been eyeing it up as a cheaper alternative to the P & P serum.
Will DoI will probably be opening it next weekend.
OH and I went PC shopping today - got a new PC, wireless printer (and extra ink), wireless mouse (for the laptop), portable DVD player and some hair clippers all for the quoted price of the PC from the Insurance. Luckily the one we got was on sale so we could buy all the other bits too :j:j
Then we got home and the guy from Comet rang and we'd left the hair clippers thereso I went back to collect them and just had to detour through town to BS :rotfl:
Got there and thought 'bah! - this is a waste of time' as they had NO mini BB's left. But I had a mooch (seeing as I was there) and found one hidden at the bottom of a 3for2 basket :T
So I have an IN of a BS Strawberry BB - which is going to my mother as I hate strawberry smelling/flavoured things :rotfl: so it doesn't really count
Saw Gino D'Campo in town - he was doing a cooking demo/book signing in the middle of the Bullring. It was heaving  Hundreds of women waiting to have their photo taken with him. I took a few piccys for my step-sister who thinks he's 'lush' but only from a distance as I wasn't waiting for two hours just to see a TV chef :rotfl:
I've spent all afternoon setting up the new PC - boy it's speedy compared to our old one
Tomorrow I'll be packing to go and see my mum :T and cutting OH's hair - and hoping for a nice shiny gold package of Gok goodies from my furbabies
Now just waiting for the water to heat up so OH can have his bath and I can then have mine. Early to bed as it's been a loooong day :cool:0 -
So I did my face mask earlier and then about an hour ago I had a lovely bath. I've repainted my toenails in a kind of metallic satsuma colour (it looks nicer than it sounds!). I've moisturised with the nivea mens lotion stuff (I can't wait for this to be UU and the next bottle too, then I can start on my lovelies from TBS!). I washed with my No7 blissful body wash, hair was alberto balsam tea tree shampoo, face was olay self heating exfoliating daily face wash. I had Nspa chocolate bubble bath too
but I can't smell anything at the mo so don't know how good it is! I've ped-egged my feet so the skin's a bit softer now. I've not moisturised them yet as I have to go out and get DD shortly. I think I might actually crack open the hemp foot stuff to give them a treat.
I don't think I'm going to get pics up on here until Monday at the earliest I'm afraid.
Oh and a UU: DH's FCUK shower gel black coffee I think. WIBA?: Depends on the price tbh. He hasn't raved about it so it's not a HG item and he seems to like the OS gels so if I can get them at £1 a time, they're a fraction of the price.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
