can i ask another daft question?
Does filing your nails actually help strengthen them? I'm sure i read on these threads somebody saying this. I was in SD yesterday and bought myself a glass nail file. I hope i haven't been silly.
I also managed to get myself another body brush from there, was't too expensive, and is a lot softer than the Sanctuary brush that i have and can't use.0 -
happy mothers day ladies hope you all get pampered:)
DH now fixed laptop:j:j:j:jBUT it took 2 weekends hours and hours of work and he had to go back and start from scratch ,wipe window vista and install xp!!!and now don't have a camera (never used anyway:rotfl:)
today we need to catch up with gardening, nails already a mess as seem to be flaking vertically down to cuticle:(:(:(so very short yet again.

Chucked out a Superdrug tea tree conditioner today, only had about an inch or so left, bought it this time last year when DD had nits and I added more pure tea tree to it, have tried to finish it but it smells really strong and I'm fed up of it. Amazed at how bad I feel throwing it away though, just feels wrong.
The little hand made soaps are priceless though, little loveheart shapes.
PRCP lets you throw things out, in the same way of using up feelgood stuff, you shouldn't feel obliged to use up not -so -feel - good. I know what you mean though.
The soaps sound lovely, well done to the pack leaders for thinking up something so useful and different.
A small UU . The second conditioner from my Clairol foam disaster. I remembered to take a sharp-ish pair of scissors in to the shower with me to open it.
WIBA? You can buy this now, apparently, but my bargain basement S'drug conditioner seemed just as good.
Decided to use BS White Musk shower gel and body lotion as it's Mothers' Day and was so glad I did. There was much less lotion than I thought and I had been going to take this on holiday, then thought, 'nah, it's old, it might have gone off.' Opaque thick plastic bottles can be so deceptive. That will be tomorrow's UU.
The top of my V05 Refreshingly Pure Elixir shampoo came off in the shower AGAIN, can't help but think that this is a major design flaw. Once again I ended up using around three times as much as usual. I got it in Poundland, I think. It's a really nice shampoo but now going down fast!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Dunno about nails, but I'm delighted you got a body brush to help with your oedema. The action of bending and brushing is so helpful in getting my arthritic joints moving in the morning. I also find that the brushing helps me feel clean on the odd day when I don't shower first thing.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... UU-Issey Miyake 50ml WIBA yes of course its one of my favs but BF got me a big bottle for my birthday in October so no need:)
I'm sinned again, cucumber wipes from Mr T yesterday but I'm nearly out of wipes so that was ok but just brought the Ultrasun set on QVC. This is good stuff and a very good offer but I do already have suncream that I need to UU...fingers crossed for a long hot summer!Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Saw Gino D'Campo in town - he was doing a cooking demo/book signing in the middle of the Bullring. It was heaving  Hundreds of women waiting to have their photo taken with him. I took a few piccys for my step-sister who thinks he's 'lush' but only from a distance as I wasn't waiting for two hours just to see a TV chef :rotfl:
Oh I think Gino is really sweet. Although I saw him on the Richard Bacon show about a month or so ago and he was trying to act "blokey" by swearing and comparing the size of his car to his manhood and it didn't really come across that well. He was trying too hard bless him.
I confess I went and got TBS body butter yesterday. Got a Pink Grapefruit one.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

no UUs - but I did do PYTNS last night - had a hot evening with the man - who halfway through the evening told me that his previous relationship had ended really badly and really hurt him and he doesnt want to use me or hurt me - but he doesnt want another one yet - so me being me checked if that was never or just not right now (on the grounds that if it was never, then there wasnt much point!) - to get told that it was just not right now, though he does want to see me... so having said to my friend that I thoguht it was all going a bit quick (bearing in mind he had already talked about children and marriage!!) and me started to come round to the speed it was going - its suddenly slammed to a halt, leaving me feeling like the rug has been pulled from under me
We have decided to go with the flow, still see each other and let nature take its course with things - (and this morning,a couple of hours after hed told me that)he did tell me that he loved me - so Im hoping tis all just a bit much cos Im sure he wouldnt just tell me things like that if he didnt mean them - especially as he had not long told me that he didnt want a relationship ???!!!
Ive decided to think of him as a piece of whole body gym equipment for the momentbut its not that easy really is it....
welcome newbies - hope you have a lovely and successful time here - I dotn always whinge about my incredible ability to pick men who are completely hopeless at wanting what they have - honest !!!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Awwww, trudij, hope things work out how they ought to for you. Life sucks sometimes doesn't it. Yay to the free use of gym equipment though!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

3 small UU's for me today:
1 x BS Rainforest Moisture hair conditioner sachet
1 x Nivea Express Hydration body lotion sachet
1 x Biore Shine Control Moisturiser travel size
Also used some body scrub in the shower, still trying to get through my massive stash of it, it seems never-ending!!

I have been "lurking" on here since the end of January and have been putting £1 away for every UU. So far have saved £66 so am delighted.
Nikkilala this is a fab idea - I'm going to do it too. Only had 1 UU so not much cash to fing for my pot!OMG I can hardly wait. Really though how will I resist it. The Exotic range is beyond devine, I'm a sucker for a floral scent and this is pure heaven, a tiny bit of the bath float is enough, the bubbles are piled high and the bathroom smells amazing. I really want to try the one in the red glass bottle too.
Vivh - I think the one your thinking of is Oriental - my total Fave. Came away from the spa with a bag full of goodies - but that was before I joined here - so don't feel quite so bad!
Can you imagine how tough it will be to keep 'on-track' when they have this stuff on 3-4-2 or even OOTW?? !!!! Kind of excited and dreading it in the same breath!Scrappie
