Flying in to announce I have well and truly slaughtered my target of 10 NSDs to make
12 NSDs for April so far!!!!One life - your life - live it!0 -
And today takes me up to #13
I have just got off the phone from booking hotel accomodation for two nights in York next month, but they don't charge anything to my card until I get there - so will count as a spend then rather than now (given I can cancel up to the day I'm due to arrive, which I hope not to have to as it means that either my elder son has let me down over having the dog or the chap who's doing the run I'm joining in on has suffered a major injury before then!)Cheryl0 -

Ooh- I'll be interested to hear where you stayed and what it was like (after you get back of course) as well as good things to do there. I have booked to take the family to York for a few days in October- haven't been there for years but loved it
I also can cancel my booking up until the day before we go, but hope we won't need toSave £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -

I arrive (late - likely to be 10pm or later!) on the Thursday night, and leave on the Saturday. But on the Friday I'm taking part in a 31 mile charity run (and World Record Breaking run, as long as all goes to plan between now and then) at the racecourse. Not yet sure how late I'll be staying on the Saturday, but if my son/dog-sitter is working until 7pm (as I suspect) then I may well hang around and take in some sights until mid-afternoon. I love the Sh@mbles (last went in 2003), but quite fancy the R@ilway Museum as I've haven't done that since I can't remember when (must be the late 70's or very early 80's!)Cheryl0 -
Evening everyone! Well I hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday - even if you have had to work during it.
No NSD for me today - I was going to head out and do some holiday shopping but couldn't get motivated so went to another town nearby instead to try and get OH some shorts in Primarni. When I got there the store was closed due to a leak in the air con system (judging by the hole in the celing) so I got some cat food and a couple of bits in Mr W, went to HnM (didn't see anything and got fed up with rude pushy people) and had a look in TK M*xx too, but again was in a bit of a grump so didn't see anything. Then, I checked out Primarni to see if it was open before i gave up - whooo! it was....and no longer had I fought my way through the crowds and pushchairs to look at the shorts, than the fire alarm in the entire shopping centre went off and we were all evacuated
So I gave up, took the car to Mr A and did a bit of a stock up (cupboards were looking VERY bare) - tea bag crisis now averted thank goodness. Amazingly for me I 'only' spent £75 which was very good given how little we had in. We're off on jolly hols in a few weeks so resisted toooo much fresh stuff and restocked the freezer pretty well so we should be good from now til then except for milk and a few bits n bobs perhaps.
Going to go holiday shopping this weekend (prob Fri in the hopes lots of people will be watching the wedding) when I hope I have some more motivation.
Right - must go make sarnies, so not in the mood for work tomorrow...Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
