  • Got one more today so that's 16 now. Doing well this month although yesterday was a spendy day that shouldn't have been, but REALLY needed milk for my tea (the thought of no tea makes me dizzy!). I also succumbed and got a bag of mini eggs (well it is Easter after all). Might just manage another four, we'll have to see.

All the best guys, take it easy

Hope you all had a great Easter. and haven't overdosed on chocolate today :EasterBun! :rotfl:

Oh Donna, glad you and DD are back home rom hospital, hope she recovers fully soon. You should both sleep well tonight...I hardly slept in hospital, either as a patient or staying with one of my boys. (((hugs))) to you and your DD.

Oh, and watched the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who this afternoon - HOW GOOD WAS THAT? Counting down to next Sat already :)
Yes, it was brilliant :j...wish part 2 had been on today rather than having to wait until next Saturday.....so many questions! Felt really sad about River Song though .

Thankfully it has been a bit cooler today...was to hot to work in the garden yesterday, so did a few things inside instead. We had loud thunder early evening, but no rain, just a bit of a breeze. The temperature dropped 10 deg C in half an hour after the thunder rumbled overhead !!

We have managed to get a fair bit done in the garden today. DH and DS2 got the final lot of gravel cleared, then made my new raised bed., It looks great, but needs a bit more filling up. We still have plenty of HM compost we can add and I might get a few bags of soil conditioner later on in the week.

I managed to sort out loads of plants in pots, weeding them and potting up those that needed to move to bigger pots. I will really need to start selling some of them, as I certainly don't have enough room in my garden for all of them, big(ish) as it is!! :D

Off to do more sewing before getting back to the ironing mountain...we can now see the arms of the chair the pile is in...it was originally over 2 feet above the height of the back, so I am getting there! The problem now is we don't seem to have enough room in our wardrobes/drawers to house all this "new found clothing" !!!:rotfl:

Oh, nearly forgot, nabbed NSD no 15 today..only one more to my first target. This won't be tomorrow, as we are taking DS1 back to Uni, then having lunch out with him before doing a major shop @ Mr S, which will keep him going for a few weeks.

Have a great day tomorrow...another Bank Holiday!

River is brilliant isn't she - the Doctor is almost being overshadowed by his companions atm :rotfl:

May1950 - 9 NSD is a great achievement, don't do yourself down :T The main reason I had for joining this challenge was to make me think more about what I was spending on and why, and by trying to get NSD it makes me do that. I know you will have your own reasons but don't lose sight of your achievment you're doing great :T

    Hi Everyone,

I have only managed 9 NSDs, I would type this in red, but everytime I try and change the colour it says [COLOUR = "red" 9 [ /COLOUR], not sure what I am doing wrong.

Hi MAY, hope this helps. Select your colour then size and type your NSD's in between them, see below:-

    Good morning everyone!

Just quickly popping in before heading off to work (no rest for the wicked!), to report that I caught another 2 NSDs over the weekend, so I've exceeded my target and I'm now up to 20 NSDs! Woo hoo! :j

I've still got a couple of planned spends due before the end of the month, but I think I'll be able to squeeze out a couple more NSDs, so I'll up my target to 23 NSDs ... fingers_crossed.gif

Have a good bank holiday everyone, good luck catching more NSDs, and I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine! sunshine.gif
