Cookie Invasion - Virus? Please Help!

Hi all I'm hoping someone can help me here.

My PC has been running quite slow for a while, I've done Disk cleanup and don't need to do a defrag (so it tells me). I have 80% free diskspace and have Spyware Doctor running and recently Microsoft Security Essentials.

I recently disabled one of the Spyware tools that checks websites before you click on them because I thought that was making it run slow. I clicked on a site from a Bing search and got a page saying I had viruses infecting my C: drive and Documents and something else. I panicked and closed the tab immediately. Then I did a full scan with Spyware Doctor. It found nothing. So I downloaded and installed MSE and did a full scan with that too. Nothing found.

Since then I am being bombarded with cookies so fast that I can't even delete them using "select all" before I have just as many again. I have to disconnect from the internet to delete them. Now I've put MSN on my banned list of sites because that's where most of the cookies seem to come from even though I hadn't been on MSN. My Temp Internet Files folder fills up quick and then my pc freezes till I disconnect, delete and reconnect for a while.

I have 16 cookies in my Temp Int Files folder that I cannot delete and wonder if these are the problem.

I've just done a full scan with Spyware Doctor in safe mode and again it picked nothing up.

Please can anyone help?

Thanks

    Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Run the program then Click on the Update Tab and check for updates, to get the latest version , then select the scan tab and run a quick scan, let it fix what it finds , post the log here(Even if nothing is found)*.

Now download HijackThis from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/ .
Run that with elevated rights, (shift key + right click run as administrator). Then post the log here*.

*Note for users not sure how to post the logs then
Each of the above programs should open their logs in Notepad so on the menu bar select "Edit+Select All" , then "Edit+Copy" , then post the logs here using CTRL+v (or right click Paste)

Thanks Closed. I was just worried because I can't delete these cookies and wondered if thy were fake cookies hiding a virus because I haven't been able to delete them and I've never been unable to delete all of my cookies before.

Scan's complete so I'll post the results asap.

    Thanks again.
