yes yes. Im very careful with my items. I even stuck a screen protector as soon as I opened the box. (I took it off now).0 -
How do I do that? Just call B.C C/S and explain what happened?
Right at the top of the page

The fight has started as they said you are not going to get a refund, do you really think they will be scared if you mention the words "Trading Standards" , i don't think they will to be honest
That’s terrible if they are not scared of trading standards.
It must mean trading standards can't do much.
They seem to be a genuine company - as in, they do send the item out. They don’t just take your money and give you nothing in return.
Why would a company want to go up against T/S for a 220 pound item, which I will be returning in new condition?
I can understand them trying to wriggle out of giving me a refund by playing on my naivety of the law - someone like me would have just accepted what them man said and got away with it if it was not for forums like this.
What I don’t understand, is when you show them you know the law and you are in the right, why are they not scared of the law?0 -
At the moment, everything is just guesswork and speculation. Let's wait to hear their reply before attributing motivesOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

True.
Sadly they are very slow by nature and that's not just for complaints.
Before my item arrived, I was trying to track my order. My order was not showing up on their system in my orders. I tried emailing, Web form, Ringing - Nothing. I even thought it must be a bogus site. Tried to call again and to my surprise someone picked up and told me when my order might be arriving.
Then when it came to trying to get a refund - same thing again. No one picks the phone, or calls back.
I doubt I will get a reply by Friday.
Should I Just wait patiently now? I was them nudging everyday.
And I read that link for section 75 - even they can try to get out of it and u have to call upon financial ombudsman. Are they scary?

Not at all. Somehow I doubt (should it go that far) that you'd be the first person to complain about themOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

You might struggle with Section 75 unless you can prove breach of contract. Visa chargeback rights are not applicable if you've just changed your mind and want a refund. If you think it might be faulty then you might have grounds for a chargeback but i'm pretty sure the retailer will contest this if you do it. You'll have to stick to DSR's and ask them to prove to you that this item isn't covered.0

Think its gonna be a fight, the website has no proper address which i think is also illegal
The address off the WHOIS is just a residential address http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=bb24rn+&aq=&sll=52.994926,-0.397136&sspn=0.0101,0.032058&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Blackburn+BB2+4RN,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.722679,-2.506964&spn=0.009929,0.032058&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.724326,-2.509531&panoid=normbqV527RM9owyB6IhdA&cbp=12,60.24,,0,9.88
