I've been back to the car park (walked there!) where I got the ticket, lots of signs explaining time limits and there amongst all the words one line regarding contracts and walking off site contravens contract.. didn't realise I was entering into a 'contract', spoke to the people who own the shop who said it was nothing to do with them but lots of people have been getting tickets and paying up she believes this company will take me to court, though I've no idea what evidence she has of this.
On principle I took the item I bought back to them and told them I wouldn't be using their store again due to the car parking situation...of course it probably won't make any difference to the store or my fine.
Good for you! :T
Nothing will happen and there is no FINE.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I know how the system works with uk cps issued tickets, and can tell you that if you ignore an invoice, you will be taken to the small claims courts where the costs will increase significantly, and judgement will be set against your name. As you have already admitted, the sign in the car park had a clause which stated that you were not permitted to leave the car park, otherwise you would be in breach of the contract and be liable to pay a parking fine.
If you feel the ticket was issued incorrectly then I would advise you appeal to whoever issued the ticket. Otherwise you should really think about finding ways to pay off the debt, even if you are in the bankruptcy courts.
:eek::p
Oh Peter Hasbeen - UKCPS clerical minion extraordinaire! - you really are desperate!
As if all your stupid fake PCN cases could possibly be taken to Court - you would lose where anyone bothered to defend! We now you like to harass disabled people especially but one day that will come back to bite you, I predict.
I think you are worried cos we've all mentioned stuff to Watchdog and it's back next week. Parking Guru was the username on pepipoo earlier today - I reckon it was Hasbeen as well!
To the OP there is no debt and the above person is a PPC troll who cannot spell the word 'advice' to save his sad life. Be careful if the idiot pm's you - do not reply!
Ooh look, he's been getting his posts up earlier today, how sad and desperate (if the link works):

Are you the imbecile called debtadviceonline on another forum?
You are a TOTAL and utter plonker.
What you have written (to try and scare newbies) is a load of codswallop.
The best thing you can do is crawl back under that stone you crawled out of.
Just cause you're losing money, ehehehehehehehe
Look what happened to OPC.
Why are the small claims courts not full of people ignoring the scam invoices then?

Ignore this knobhead. He runs a parking company and we are destroying his business.
Prodebtadvisor/Perky/Peter - Any comments on OPC's criminal activities?0 -
Well, not sure what I started here but thankyou guys for your kind words of advice - a word to this poster -

ermm that statement would evidence to me that you do not understand the courts insolvency system - I will clarify- being subject to such a system as I am - means for 6 years every penny that comes in this house is accounted for and monitored by the 'Insolvency practitioner' this is a 'legal and binding contract' as recorded within court documents and signed by a judge. The contents of the property along with the car incidently are also a part of that legal agreement, therefore there are no goods or money to pay for such charges, but please do feel free to take me to the 'small claims court' I do happen to know the building and the judge -though the cost of such action will not be coming out of my pocket! However, thankyou for your comments and the word of warning to me.

Also he doesn't know the difference between a fine and an unenforceable and invoice, and between a verb and a noun. I suppose he's so ill-educated the only job he could get was one that involves conning people. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I am not a lawyer, but...mother_hen wrote: »I've been back to the car park (walked there!) where I got the ticket, lots of signs explaining time limits and there amongst all the words one line regarding contracts and walking off site contravens contract.. didn't realise I was entering into a 'contract', spoke to the people who own the shop who said it was nothing to do with them but lots of people have been getting tickets and paying up she believes this company will take me to court, though I've no idea what evidence she has of this.
Such a silly contract term would not stand up in court, even if the parking scamsters had the gall to attempt litigation.0
