    Thanks Taplady I hadn't noticed that.
    Halight I'm glad they are looking into things further. Hope everything is good for you.
    Fish pie went down great with the adults and I cooked pizza for the DGSs so they were happy.
    Just doing a spot of sitting on some DGSs for a few hours - which means they are in control of the TV at the moment, but they will be gone home by 8:30 so I know what I shall be watching, (so long as I don't fall asleep - fish pie is just so involved to make, I am shattered now.)
    Thanks again, Silver x

    :o :rotfl: I have been batch cooking some low carb recipes; cauli cheese, spinach bake, asparagus quiche and mushroom fritata. Cooked the mushrooms, put the in my cake pan with the removable bottom, filled it up with eggs and grated cheese over it. Could not understand why my feet felt wet. The eggs were pouring out of the bottom of the tin, running off the worktop on onto my shoes :rotfl: I think it may be time to stop and rest now :o

    Evening all

    Back from uni. Lovely to see that it is still daylight out :) shame I'm too tired to do anything!

    Gonna sort my uni file out, grab a bite to eat and then curl up on sofa

    I did that once with quiche. Unfortunately my godmother was coming for lunch. Not a happy bunny. Lesson learned. Loose bottomed tins are not suitable for everything:rotfl:

    I am thoroughly enjoying it FB, and no one is more shocked than me :rotfl: This is the longest I have stuck rigidly to a diet in my life, and actually I am finding it easy. It will probably be even easier for you as you only have to please yourself, and sometimes I just CBA'd cooking two meals and end up having cheese and nuts for dinner, which I shouldn't. I am using Rose Elliot's low carb diet, I think it was £8 on Amazon. This week meals have been;

    Monday B- yoghurt with almonds and linseeds; L - Cauliflower cheese; D - salad with Halloumi
    TuesdayB- scrambled egg, sausage mushroom and tomato; L - Salad with Feta; D - Asparagus with cheese and salad
    Wed B - 3 egg omelette with cheese; L - Salad with tofu and pumpkin seeds; D - Portobello mushrooms with cheese and garlic topping and salad.

    It took some getting used to, not to be buying low fat stuff, and to use cream in things, and you are not meant to have milk in your tea, but I would kill if I didn't have tea, and its been fine for me. As you know I have a lot of weight to lose, but have dropped just shy of 20lbs since March 1st. I don't expect to lose this much every month but it has been a nice boost. :)
