    Morning all!

Wet and blowy here today, but no matter cos I'm working in a bit till late this eve, so won't feel that I'm missing out on the sunshine at least!

Dinner last night ended up being meatballs and spaghetti, so today I have prepped the dauphinoise and cauli cheese, and sausages are in the fridge ready to cook when the girls get home.

Have S&S the kitchen, hoovered, tidied and put on yet more washing! ds is just making some tomato soup for our lunch, so will go and do the dw again after he has finished!

Not a whole lot to report today, been trying to figure out why itunes has stripped my phone of its ringtones, and won't let me transfer them back again! Sure it's simple really, but will have to get kids to sort it out for me lol! Planning to pop round to see Spudette's daddy after work, as he seems to be conspicuous by his absence at the mo and is not answering my calls, which wouldn't be quite so irritating if his business wasn't 2mins up the road from my house! Sure he'll be thrilled to see me, but I need some answers and am a hormonal woman on a mission to get some lol!

Have a good day all, going to have a quick catch up before lunch and work xx

Julie G, Rosyred thankyou you have made me feel better.

Julie, I don't think I am eating too many calories, maybe not enough. A normal day would be crackers with an egg for breakfast, houmus and pitta and soup for lunch and then evenings I am having chicken or fish maybe a small portion of brown pasta or rice and veg or salad. If I have potatoes they have been sweet or boiled in their skins. Snacks are a few nuts, fruit or jelly and fat free yoghurt. What do you think?? I have also been having a real fruit ice lolly in the evening. I am loathe to go back to counting points or calories as its never worked in the past and I feel much better on this eating plan healthwise. I suppose I am just impatient.

Have made a pasta bake with Chicken and green beans for tea, also have a cherry cake in the oven and choc chip cookies waiting to go in. Needless to say these are not for me:D

Halight - I'm glad your doctor is running tests, so good luck with all that.

NPM - I looked at Sistercas's link and it looks like a wonderful school. If the Melatonin doesn't have the effect you and your little one needs, perhaps a school like that would be a good move.

    Afternoon peeps,
Have been reading but not really posting as feeling bleurgh so not much to report here. I don't understand it, despite the sunshine making me feel so much better mentally my body seems to be shutting down & I have never been so tired in my life, not even when the DC were babies, of course this is making me fed up & so it becomes a vicious circle :(
NPM hope the melatonin helps DS, does it take a while to kick in or is it fast acting? Hope you get some peace of mind soon.
BDF That must be sooo hard for you ((hugs)) my DP has a daughter somewhere about 8 years old, the mother thought he should know but didn't want him involved. This was when we were just friends & I was the only person he told so I have known all along, but it is something that I just know will crop up in the future, who knows maybe I will be coming to you for advice :)
TF hope you get DS's bullying sorted out x
Congratulations to all those girlies losing weight You are an inspiration to those of us who should be be at least attempting it.
LouLou glad to hear DS is improving, hope you enjoy your time out today.
Halight hope you feel better soon, good luck with the MRI's.
JackieO wishing you lovely weather for your hols.
HH You must be a saint to put up with your place of employment & as for the SW words fail me.
BB I officially have chicken envy :)
Hugs, spoons & hi5's to all, sorry if I've missed anyone x

Kathy its a fabulous school , both my girls went there and had several very happy years
. the IR is very well resourced , the children in the IR are integrated into the normal school day , its a good mix for children with autistic spectrum disorders

Julie67 I know where you are coming from... counting makes my head spin and makes you slip when you cannot be bothered! It sounds a bit light on the calories though x

What I did what I realised this too (a few weeks ago) I used the Collins GI Book and sat for an hour and did a 'sample of typical foods' and found I was eating 2/3rds of what I should, and was in a zone where you can stop losing weight. You don;t have to do it daily... but get an idea.

I had to add slightly more cheese, meat, olive oil and butter more into my diet as I was mainly on veg and wasn't getting enough. I have Rye bread and Pate for breakfast, HM Soup and Bread for lunch and dinner I have curry (with yogurt and cream and lots of veg) with more veg and 35g rice, I don;t stick to Chicken and Fish... I eat mince, burgers, sausages, chicken and Fish... ! I always have a cooked breakfast on Sundays and Scrambled eggs with mushrooms, onions and feta for lunch on Saturdays.

I snack on Nuts (Hazelnuts and Subflower Seeds), Oatcakes and Cheese or Popcorn (and butter when I feel down) when my Calories are low too x

As you can tell sneaking in cheese is a good way of getting calories up!

Also my soups always have meat in them too x

It does take some getting used to, I suppose I am lucky because I have to track calories anyway... so that's how I knew what was going on.

Thanks Julie, I will up the butter and cheese. I think I am probably in the mind set still were cheese and butter are bad foods but will definitely give this a try and sit with the book later as well:D
