I saw a page on facebook the other selling blinged dummies. I can't remember what it was called because funnily enough i didn't like the page. I was surprised though at the volume she was selling, her page was full of people ordering them. :eek:0

good plan, Im slowly going down the list reporting the item numbers. Never have I seen so much tat in one place0 -
I have noticed that all the fakes appear to be 'Dior', whereas before we had all sorts of names from Gucci and D and G etc. Either all the other companies have put their foot down and stopped this nasty trade, or else the sellers can only spell Dior.
The new key word appears to be 'Romany', and if i were a true Romany I think I would be complaining very loudly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Trading standards officials say the pacifiers are a choking hazard for youngsters.
The dummies, which have been sold on the internet, are decorated with small beads and gems which could be dangerous.
The items were tested and found to breach safety controls, according to Medway Council in Kent.
"Not only do they feature prohibited decorations but the hand-glued beads and gems were also found to be easily detached, posing a huge danger as they could easily choke a baby or small child," a spokesman said.

Only 4 months after this thread on MSE as well.:p
I reported them to everyone, including Dior who really didn't seem to care so it looks like Dior are happy for their brand to be cheapened and used on unsafe products.
It gets worse though, how this seller hasn't been banned is beyond me

At least those beakers & dummies only seem to have logos on them not stones, that I can see. Still very tacky though but hopefully not killers.
I wonder if trading standards are doing much about trawling the net & stopping the sale of this crap.
I'm glad I'm of an age where I never wanted to walk around with someone else's name emblazoned on my clothing.0
