Well, I well and truly mucked up this month. Although, in fairness I did have to restock my new freezer. But still, I overspent by over £10 i reckon. I haven't added up yet (too scared), but I reckon it's over £250. And I did so well last month! I did do some spaving too this month, so maybe won't spend so much next month. May even have to consider doing the 2nd purse thing as I keep wanting to stock up on bargians and then end up going over my budget!
Will post final total when I've been brave enough to total it, and please could I be put down for £150 again for May. Thanks to all who run and contribute to the thread, keeps me focussed - just need to remember my mantra when I'm shopping!
Good luck all with May, see you over on the new thread!

I use creme fraiche instead of making a cheese/White sauce. I add some grated nutmeg and cheddar or Parmesan and add to lasagne and moussaka. Yummy and quick and easy . Bought some items today so that I don't have to go out tomorrow, and which wont be used until tomorrow or Monday, so have taken those out of my May budget.

Hi sat down this morning and added up my recipts and i have gone massivley over my budjet of £250.00 by £187.29 and this figure did not include alchol when I added that up I was realy shocked :eek:but i'm keeping that to my self:) but what it did show me was where we are wasting money (alchol) and when i have been to lazy to take pack lunches I end up buying ready made salads, and hot food of the deli counter in the supermarket I work in.so i am declaring for this month £437.29 so will be going Into the may challenge to post my budget for May.
