Am declaring for April - £435.05 , over £35 over my budget :( Trying not to get too downhearted though as it was my first time trying so the £400 was an estimate. Am going to try for £420 next month so can you put me down for that please, will see if I can stick to that :T

A little bit over at £253.55/£240, but given how much of the budget was spent by mid month I am really pleased that I managed to keep it under control.

Still not in target though, and things are tighter from next month, with less flex if I go over, so I'll have to be even more careful next month. There are only two of us though so it is definitely do-able, in fact if I really tried I should be able to get it much lower.

Still menu planning every week which seems to help, as I am throwing very little away, and have downshifted on quite a few items so will keep at it for now.
Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage :o) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.

We'll be going to town shortly and will be spending there but that will be out of our May budget. Thanks for listing me MrsMcCawber. :A

    Hi,

I am declaring £338 for April. £7.00 under my budget, so pleased with that, although the cupboards are fairly empty. so it won't be long till I start on mays budget.

Just done the last shopping of the month. I am declaring 75.78 / 100 €. Quite a bit under budget (due to the season?). I am going to try 85 € for May.

Well famous last words, lol! Last time I posted, I was hoping to only have to get milk and cat food before the end of the month, but I needed a few more bits as well, went to Mr T’s today and spent £14.83, so only just under budget at £136.91, but better than going over.
