Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather we are having.
Have spent quite a lot of money since last post - £51.71 most of it was in Te$co but also got milk and a large sack of potatoes that cost £7.99 however the last sack was brought in early December and we only had two in the whole bag that we threw away plus about 8 which had sprouted so are now in the garden hopefully going to give us a few spuds later on. :money:
have also got some radishes growing and they are looking very healthy at the moment, some garlic, lettuce leaves and have brought some carrot seeds which will go in very soon. Havent got a lot of garden but will do what we can in the bit we have plus a few pots here and there. Am liking the idea of hanging baskets with cherry tomatoes in so probably get some of these next. Mum has a green house and I have got some peppers and chillies in there at the moment.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
NSD today, thank goodness. Was tempted to go and get bbq stuff; like someone else said, this weather puts out your meal plan! Managed to have what I'd planned, though, as it had been taken out of the freezer and would have to be binned after today. NOOOO!!!!! So, we had roast pork (sliced and reheated) with carrot and potato mash. One day closer to hitting target!
On a non-gc note, I now have enough money to dec both children's bedrooms, and half the money for my daughter's new bed (gone up from £270 to £292 in the new arg@s catalogue), so budgetting and targets are good! And even if I don't make it this month, I am still saving more than I ever have, and overpaying my mortgage, so I won't be too harsh on myself. Go me!
Mum is coming up on Sunday to help me plant up my garden - not been able to get the motivation/feel guilty for not doing son's room, so Sunday is the day assigned for gardening! Will feel loads better about the summer gcs after that, I think.
Night all,

Morning all.
Hi Mothership...thinking about you and i would have done the same as you and give the lad some food. What sort of world are we living in. So many people addicted to drugs ... heart wrenching isn't it. I hope you will be able to help your little sister as she has her hands full with all the kids. All you can do is be kind and she will love you for that.
Congrats Rosieben on your wee new addition...I so look forward to being a granny but it will be a while yet!!!!
Well had a nsd on thursday and today should be one as well. Went to town yesterday and spent £42.35 in Mr Ts. There was not one item that I did not need but very few reductions ... got some avocados reduced by 20p!!!
Beautiful day here and I'm off to have me porridge!!!
