I feel sick today!
It was someone at works last day today, so there were KrispyKreme doughnuts, muffins, croissants and strawberries. For lunch we had a delivery of Dominos pizzas (8 boxes between 10 people), followed by chocolate cake.
There is loads left, so I guess I'll take some home. I most certainly will not be having dinner tonight! I was going to have a root vegetable curry for dinner tonight because some parsnips in the fridge need using up. If I peel them, cut them up and put in a bowl of cold water in the fridge will they keep until Tuesday (which is the next day I'm due to cook)?. Or are parsnips something which can go straight in the freezer without par boiling?
ETA: Before I got to work, and saw all the food we would have, I bought a cheese mayo sandwich from MrS. BB 10th April. I know people say that they sometimes freeze sandwiches, but would that apply to store bought ones as well?Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300

Excellent - it's just cheese, spring onion and mayo, so it should be okay. It only cost a £1, but I'm reluctant to throw any food away since this challenge!
Thanks for this.Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300

On the grabbit boards there are heads-up threads regarding 2 pricing glitches which are still going trough at Tesco.
They are for a couple of buy 2 for whatever offers. The discount gets deducted TWICE though.
The first one is for any 2 of the fairy washing up liquids in the promotion.
The other is for twister lollies. The packs of 8. Buy 2 for whatever promotion.
They both work as I have bought 2 of each this morning!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Wanted to report no spends since Monday! Took Mum & niece away on a "Sun holiday" from Mon til today and Mum wouldn't let me spend a penny. We took our "caravan bag" which i've been building for a few months with essentials, and will be used again in a few weeks when me and a friend go up north for my second sun holiday of the year.
Wanted to ask a quick question, even though I've done GC for a couple of years, I've never had a veg / fruit box. Where do I get one??
Trying to be healthy and if I spend the money, I'll defo eat it and prob try out some new recipes. I don't eat much meat as it goes, but couldn't be a full blown veggie, I'd miss it too much. Have a good weekend everyone, and enjoy the sunshine if you have it!
:beer:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!
