Thanks for putting my recipe in the list rosieben! That's one of my new year's resolutions - to have one of my recipes in there!! (SO sad, I know!)
NSD today GCwise, but I did buy 3 fruit trees, one plum as the old one died, one apple and one pear, all for £17.97. That was from instore/poundstretcher type place. Really must get on with some planting, but feel guilty for doing that when I should be doing my son's bedroom...
Off to have dinner, corned beef and potato pie with steamfesh veg which are on offer in @sda at 3 for £3.

Please put me down for £70 again for April.
I'm doing things a bit differently this month. As I've moved house I'm no longer within easy reach (for me) of one of the big cheaper supermarkets. So I've decided I'm going to try doing one big online shop each month, then supplement that with smaller top-ups for things like fresh fruit and milk. Hoping I can still keep to my budget doing this!
So far, I've done my monthly shop for April, and that came to an eye-watering £57.32 . Though I think I strictly have a bit more than one month's worth of things there, so next month should (fingers crossed) be quite a bit less. I've also already been for a couple of small top-ups as well, so that means so far my total is £60.04. It's not looking good...0 -
Ive blown it already. Just got back from asda, as i had to get some flowers for my step mum. I ended up buying an extra special pizza, reduced to £1.30 (I couldn't resist, in the freezer for tomorrow night), double stuff oreos for 80p and some milk, 45p. Bad start.
you havent blown it i always think it's good to be ahead and stocking up your freezer is always a good thing(unless it breaks )
