then tomorrow it will be ald!, sainsbugs , t3sco and HB , its exhausting shopping in so many places but it saves me loads :D

janae we have 4 adults too ( well 2 adults and a 17 and 15 yr old) and they eat sooo much its hard to keep the budget down isnt it? i am lucky that they will eat practically anything though :)
  • Hi, I haven't done this for a while, but need to now as am being made redundant soon. Please put me down for £430 this month (a realistic figure for me) and then I will hope to reduce the figure for May. It will be a step in the right direction for me if I actually RECORD what I spend. It will certainly make me think twice about buying things! Thanks.

Many thanks to all those who run this thread

Can you put me down for £85 again for April please?
I know other singles spend much less than this, but happy to just not spend more and keeping a close watch has made a difference.

I'm a singleton too and my budget is roughly the same. I find it quite difficult to vary my dinners etc, cos if I make a big pot of something in the SC it lasts me for weeks! I do portion things up and freeze them, but it takes me ages to work my way through it.

I will have a spend day today. Got 3 x £20 ish vouchers from T£scos DTD. But it'll be a storecupboard shop. Have done really well at running down the cupboards over the last couple of weeks, so it's time to feed them again!

So although my spends v budget looks really high, shouldn't need to spend any actual cash til the end of the month.

I'm not ready to declare for March yet - still got some receipts to add up, but I know I went way over my £150 budget, I spent at least £200.:o At least we had a good housewarming party, and my freezer is a bit like Mr Creosote (just a wafer thin mint, Sir??) so this month I will mainly be eating from the freezer. Going shopping tonight but my list is bread, milk, fruit, veg, maybe some meat for sandwiches - and that's it. Now I just need to keep to it!

So... could you put slbhill down for £100 for April please. This month I will make it! :A

Having just totalled my March Shop which amazingly came in UNDER budget, I am going to try for a reduced on this month. Last month I spend £60 on dog food  and still came in under budget so after some random calculations I am going to try for.....

£250 this month for bexs.ua please!!!

Will be interesting to see whether I make this!! But I'll have a good go :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi. Could you put me down for £300 for April please Mrs M. Didn't do too well in March as I forgot it was a 5 week month :o. Upping the budget to £300, as that seems more reasonable especially with the easter holidays and also joining SW tonight.
