Julie67 Thank You. My DH and I are not going to stop trying, we are however, going to accept that we have to learn to be content as we are, and enjoy what we have... otherwise it'll become an obsession.
Ref the book... you are no help! LOL glad it isn't just me though... I have thought about getting it out again and trying to read it...! I have that trillogy... wish you were closer i'd lend it to you! I just finished the Garden Trillogy and I am going through the book list again!
Mum just gave me all her books for the Kindle (which I don't have) but you can download it on the PC for onscreen reading... which will help for the few books I cannot get in the library.We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!:dance: Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Lou I went through something very similar with my youngest, I was so worried about his weight I went to the docs and ended up pulling his trousers down and saying"look how thin his bottom is" oh my goodness it makes me laugh now but I was frantic at the time. Needless to say it passed, he started eating better and stopped being ill so much and is now a strapping 14 yrold, but I know what a worrying time it can be. I don't think I could not feed him either, I would let him eat what he fancies and just hope the sickness and upset tummy pass, which they will, good luck hun
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ds has no bottom either! his nappies dont stay up on him so he always has a builders bum
he's lost 2kgs (just over). its a good job he was a chunky baby and had lots of fat to spare
he's just over 10kgs now. he eats very well but it just doesnt stay in him for long
he turned his nose up at an ice lolly last night but will try again later.

A$da delivery arrived and put away :T. Had to take everything out of the freezer and move it all around to get it all to fit. Had to leave two packs of meat out as there was no room, so that's the next couple of days meals decided. I am going to have to have a couple of days of freezer meals as we have to much so I will rejig my menu plans maybe just move them on a couple of days.
Loulou, if he is eating cucumber would he eat melon?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Julie georgiana Thank you so much for the advice it is just a total minefield particularly because I have no experience of having ever gone sick properly before or what rights I have. And thank you for being so concerned even in the midst of what must be a really awful time for you, I really do wish you all the best and I'm truly sorry for your losses x
loulou Sorry about LO - have they carried out a coeliac screen on him? Just wondering because some of his symptoms sound a bit suspect to a gluten allergy. At this stage give him anything to eat, jelly is good, ice lollies, slush, ice cubes in a cup, fizzy, squash, water anything goes! I hope he and you start to feel better soon
Well this involuntary annual leave has meant i have managed to catch up on few jobs around the house, the floors are all nice and clean and it's nice to catch up on the washing for once! Must go and get littlest from pre-school now and may go to garden centre with him for a potter!

miercherox - they did all lots of bloods and stool samples and came to the conclusion and decided it was lactose intolerance, IBS and GORD... he is still under paeds so if he isnt better soon will go straight to them rather than gp"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0

loulou, you may find you have direct access to paeds anyway. Really the GP should have referred you straight away again. Phone paeds and explain the situation hopefully they can be more helpful to you x#118 DFW Debt freely Christmas 2012 Challenge0
