morning all. i need some sanity. we're back to the diarrhoea. through the night he did it in his bed, then got in with us and then we went through 3 lots of bedding. plus it went over the carpet when he got out of the bath. add to the the change of bedding when he first went to bed last night because he was sick.

i seriously dont think i can cope with him being so ill all the time. he was weighed at his two years check a couple of weeks ago and has lost more weight. a friend saw him at the weekend and commented on much he has slimmed down. she saw him about a month ago before that.

alan has been on the phone to the drs and just waiting for them to call back. i know they will say keep giving fluids though...

Hester Good Luck with the 'talk' today x
Silvermaid we put the washing out last night, with the plan of getting it in today before the rain and finishing it indoors... It rained overnight
Red Ruby my Dh and I do this... if one of us is sick, my DH sleeps in my sons bunkbed.. it always helps so much x
Miecherox hope all goes will with getting Maternity Pay from them, I bed they are just hoping you won't do anything x
Cheapskate sorry to hear about your sisters dog x
    Bargainbird hope DD2 get's better soon x
JackieGlasgow I know where you are coming from with Eggs, I can't seem to handle them more then a few times a week... make me feel sick x
LouLou I do hope they do something for the poor guy, losing weight must be such a worry xxx
Julie67 I have been AWOL, did you finish that book???

Well I haven't been around awhile, Friday was a hard day because DH and I first concieved 9 months ago, and were due on the 25th, and to add to that our second miscarried baby would have been exactly 6 months gone on that same day, and to top that all off I started bleeding on friday...

... and in the early hours of Saturday Morning I miscarried our third baby! So I have been a little lost! How could all three co-incide on the same date???

Anyway, we went to Church on Sunday (which was a healing service) and I cried, but I feel some better now!

I ate too many Calories over the weekend, but managed to stay Low GI/GL and Low Carb, so I haven't ruined the progress I am have made so far... someone said... what's the use of continuing the 'diet' if it's not working (which I thought was a little insensitive)... well who knows it may take longer then 6 weeks for my insuline to lower... and I just have to keep hoping that the next baby I will carry to term because I did continue my diet to lower my insulin x

I haven't been to the Dr yet, I will go next week and 'record' the miscarriage, but I don't want to be referred for more tests, we are going to try again and focus on what we do have x

Anyway, this week is my last at work FT, and next week I will work 2.5hrs a day from home before I take 2 weeks leave :D

Hope you all have a good day x

Oh! no Loulou, sorry to hear that. (((hugs))) to you all. Hope he picks up soon. Let us know what the Dr.'s say.

Washing sorted and folded off the airers. Washing on the airers. WM on again. I WILL catch up one day :o. Still have to put all this lot away, at the moment it is sat in piles up the stairs in person order :o:o Thought I might get a chance this morning when DC3 was in his bath but he decided he didn't want to play in the bath like he usually does, oh! well!

Julie, sorry to hear of your loss (((hugs))). It is a tough time but you will get there. I suffered multiple MC for 5 years before we had the joy of DC1 so I empathise. Thinking of you and will keep you in my prayers.

julieg - have a love0073.gif i really hope that things work out soon

well dr called back and says it definately a bug and not a virus like they first said. i could have figured that one out for myself. and just to keep offering him sips of dirolyte. alan tells him he wont drink and his reply was 'he needs to'!! what do they expect us to do? force it into him?? said not to give him any food but thats a bit hard when everytime you go into the kitchen he follows you, crying and asking for 'reakfast'. last night gave him some plain pasta because he got so upset and wanted to eat. but he brought it back up. dont you just hate it when you dont know what to do for the best :(

Miecherox just remembered something... as I am in temporary work I read about the maternity grant, if you worked 26 weeks of the 66 weeks before the week the baby is due, you are entitles to a paternity grant. From what I understand you apply at the job centre, and they take 13 weeks you worked, and if it averages over £30 you are eleigable.

They will then pay you £123 a week (or 90% of your wages which ever is lowest) for 39 weeks. If you are unemployed on week 11 before the baby is due they will start paying you then.

You may loose a little for the first 6 weeks compared to SMP... but you would still get up to £4800 over the period.

    HTH x

Julieg, have a hug! Hope things sort themselves out for you.
Loulou, mine would never drink Dioralyte when ill, I used to give them flat coke with a pinch of salt stirred into it, works as well but mustn't be diet!
Sky doesn't look very promising today, so no washing. Still feel rotten, but its FIL's birthday and am undecided wether I should visit him or let MIL have a strop-don't think I should risk infecting the oldies in the nursing home!
